Jarus: But the ITK, oversense & inhospitable mien of d igbos will always be their greatest undoing. An igbo man was complaining to me dat d SW fucccked dem up & as I was explaining to him d importance of d SW & NC politically(especially during 2011 dat helped GEJ when Tinubu sold out to him) d guy sensed "tribalism" & walked out...I just shook my head in pity for him & dr kin...with their hot blood they will continue to wallow in political oblivion. A pity. 1 Like |

Onyi42: Told is not the right word. He should be warned to leave the Igbos out of whatever war he believes he is about fighting. Since the war ended, when did ever come out to say he supported the Igbos and their quest? Before April 1st 2015 and GMB's vvictory, when had he ever included the Igbos in any of his speeches or showed any form of affiliation. The Igbos are wiser now and highly satisfied with the outcome of the polls. As a matter of fact, many Igbos went the extra mile to see this change through. Asari Dokubo, whoever he might be does not worth anything to an average Igbo man who does not need to share the creeks with fishes and reptiles to survive or blowing up pipeline installations to become relevant. Farming, business and professionalism are our areas of speciality ranging from doctors, Lawyers, politicians down to masons, blacksmiths etc. Finally, Igbos will not take kindly to any attempt to drag their name into a baseless fight. SAI BUHARI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

themodernman: Unfortunately in spite of the political consciousness of people of the North, which as at today are the best in Nigeria and despite all the number of years they have ruled the country am sure you can't compare the life of an average Northern to the Igbos. The Igbos may not be embedded in Nigeria politics because they know from the onset that the government means no well for an ordinary Nigeria and have be empowering themselves as best as they could. I am sure you can attest to that, that's if you have ever left your enclave to live among them. 1 Like |

if you are too young to actually knew yourself if not before the war started, but at least the very week it ended, you need to forge a 'new nigeria' of one nation, one people, one progressive destiny, one brighter future. nigerians, old and young must know that God has made us 1 people with different collages of quality, some specific to each group while others overlap as common, but both belong to us as a nation. while we are africans, we are nigerians with our special tribal qualities. but we are not togolese or senegalese, etc instead we are nigerians. this quality of identity is what unites us all, home and abroad. in spite of us being blacks, we are still nigerians. we should not let our minor differences destroy our major commonality. no group in nigeria can survive on its own from the first day of separation if it were to happen as we survive now. something will be missing that would not been so, if we are a nation as we are now. i don't wanna get a visa to go to any place that is within 'nigeria' of today. i do not wanna be an enemy to any nigerian. in fact my islam teaches against it. dokubo and each of us should know that nigeria is more than each of us or our ethnic group. it is selfishness if not evil to wish disaster for anyone. who wishes to be evil like boko haraam? such a person or people may advocate the same sickness of boko haraan, the individuals not able to restrict their hands from their wives just because they are running away from nigerian military, driving them to slaughter their own mates. since gej says nigeria is bigger than him, while will anyone want to waste life just for an ambition caught short? gej is 57. he has 15 years to think about this again, as buhari [bukhari] [busari, yoruba] just achieved what he got at 53! in fact, for me i think anyone who is over 50, today should be barred from nigerian politics for at least the next 4 election circles. |

three things separating Nigeria. TRIBALISM, REGION, AND RELIGION...... THESE ARE WORST THAN RACIST..... Sometimes i ask God Why tribe.... why regionalism, and why religion. DUBAI today u see is only one religion and is rule by a king. if only God could remove all this devilish thinking out of our mind. Nigeria will be great. |

Asari Dokubo is saying things out of annoyance....... Even the Abakiliki chairman who posted this ariticle just shared it out of Annoyance, despite the sweetest words mixing in the paragraph....... But since president GEJ admitted His failure peacefully,,, let us maintain The peace.... Let the peace reign in Nigeria*** |

Deltagiant:please join Asari with all those who reason like you so that a second civil war that you & all that claim you can carry the fight starts! God forbid as I have lots of friend being Igbo friends than Hausa but if you start a war, I will gladly join the Nigerian military to fight you; please note that we know you don't like us & your hatred for us had made us to dislike you too. You ain't capable of surviving another war so wise up by putting off that mentality & work with other tribes so that we can all enjoy Nigeria. Whoever thought a black person can become United States President, better let go of the past & move on as you might get more than you ever bargain for. |
