"CASC unveiled its first UAV missile, the AR-1, in 2008. The semi-active laser-guided missile can be used with CASC's CH-3, CH-3A, and CH-4 UAVs, which a Chinese source at IDEX said have been sold to around 5-10 countries. While it has been test-fired 30-40 times, including from Chinese helicopters, the 8-10 km-range AR-1 is currently designed only for use with UAVs."

Errrr....which LAND platforms? Not one single land platform. No name, nothing. You f*cken fraud. You just keep making sh*t up. Give us the name of the Nigerian land platform which can fire AR-1 missiles. Damn fraud

You have a source, I too have a source, so what exactly is wrong with that? Na only you get source?

" However, the developer of the AR-1, the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASTC) has claimed that the AR-1 missile can also be carried by platforms other than a UCAV."

Bwahaha, oga mi !

The pressure on video releases was initiated and championed by Beegeagle bloggers, they almost choked FG and DHQ on this PR issue.

If government had appointed Beegeagle himself as war time adviser since 2013, things would have been fantastic in MoD arms procurement and war PR information machinery
.

I no just no why. The last time the Navy invited him in 2012, we had SBS photos for weeks, plus in-depth analysis.

He would have saved the military and GEJ at the polls, if he had been invited. They all visit and use content, then they play mute. The only strictly defence source. Pity though, let's see if we would have better luck this term.

Pity, you have only one unit and too heavy to transport by Helicopter.

Nigeria has many many many.....they do the same job, but we have more numbers and super mobility to fly anywhere, even across rivers.

Special forces can easily use them by helicopter deployment.

SANDF is an immobile army

Who said we only have one?
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 12:05am On Apr 04, 2015
Who made it a restricted zone?,the area is a public zone, the fishermen were probably frequent visitors of that area, they probably visited that area everyday to scout for fish.you cant just wake up one morning, label the area a 'restricted zone' and expect them to go hungry simply because you want to impress a bunch of german sailors with your amateur naval skills!
The SAN should have stationed patrol boats at the outer perimeter to prevent unwanted intrusion, that is how proffesional navies operate.

Prove our Swingfire expired. Egypt still uses their own.

Nigerian ordnance is well preserved, we removed long range rockets from our old MiG-21 storage and used them to knock out Boko Haram.

Rockets we bought for NAF MiG-21 jets almost 40 years ago with 150 Atoll air to air missiles, same used today effectively.

Well maintained missiles last 45 years in many cases.

All Nigerian missiles are well preserved to last 45 years

Roland SAM
Swingfire ATGM
Atoll AAM
Otomat AShM
Aspide BRVSAM
PL-9 BVRAAM
AR-1 ASM-ATGM

All the above missiles still operational in Nigerian military.

"The threat to fixed- and rotary-wing operations by Boko Haram is not insignificant, Zannah told AIN. The NAF’s Hinds and Alpha Jets had both been hit by gunfire of up to 30mm caliber, forcing them to fly higher, and requiring the NAF to fit longer-range rockets taken from its MiG-21s onto the Hind helicopters . The NAF has a fleet of 24 to 30 Mil Mi-24V/35P helicopters, and has lost two of them during operations, although not to enemy fire. The NAF also operates Mi-17, and is acquiring some new Mil-17-1 versions. “The Mil series is still the helicopter of choice for us,” Zannah noted."

Actually it is.

A nation's GDP at purchasing power parity (PPP) exchange rates is the sum value of all goods and services produced in the country valued at prices prevailing in the United States. This is the measure most economists prefer when looking at per-capita welfare and use of resources across countries. The measure is difficult to compute, as a US dollar value has to be assigned to all goods and services in the country regardless of whether these goods and services have a direct equivalent in the United States
F@ck your dumb!!
You said GDPppp=GDP per capita

You just proved me right threw your own stupidity, GDPppp=GDP purchasing power parity, as i already said!

You can calculate GDP per capita for GDPppp or GDPnominal by just dividing the total GDP by the number of Citizens in a country.

For example:
Nigeria's
GDPppp = $1.058 trillion
GDPppp per capita = $6,082

GDPnominal = $594.257 billion
GDPnominal per capita = $3,416

Difference between your Surface to surface missile and our own is only 1 km, Ingwe is not better than Swingfire, smoke kills Ingwe laser guidance system and makes it useless .

In real combat, 4 km range is even too far, you cannot I.D. targets easily with human eye. Ingwe 5 km is a waste.

Swingfire 4 km range is more than enough.
.

Ingwe is decades more advanced than the Swingfire, Ingwe is faster and can kill a T-72 no problem.

You dont aim the Ingwe with the naked eye

Swingfire also is defeated by smoke - you cannot hit what you cannot see

This is the measure most economists prefer when looking at per-capita welfare.

It is the measurement most used when calculating per capita.

It pegs goods and services produced in each individual country to what similar goods and services cost in the U.S.

This is why, many exporting countries deliberately devalue their currencies when exporting( especially to the U.S) as they get more profits doing this.

It is a false method of calculating GDP as prices used in manufacturing, e.g soap/biscuits differ from country to country. So a businessman could sell a Soap in Nigeria for 50 cents, while a R3tard in South-Africa buys same soap 3 dollars, and the price in the U.S is 2 dollars.

I hope making it bold helps you now understand. R3tard!!

Dude!!! your arguing a fact that i didnt even dispute you f@cktard!!!
Never once did i say GDPppp is the most accurate measurement of GDP or that they dont use GDPppp to calculate GDP per capita(infact they use both GDPnominal and GDPppp to calculate GDP per capita, its a simple division sum, not much to it) !!

YOU said GDPppp=GDP per capita
i was just correcting you by stating that GDPppp those not mean GDP per capita.

Just admit you were wrong and we can move on!
