aresa: There are many credible and competent Nigerians, the world over the problem is that politics naturally attracts a certain element. If you can succeed in business why would you waste your time in politics? You attacked Jonathan and claimed he is corrupt (without proof) but the nature of Nigerian politics is that most people involved have been involved in or have benefited from corruption. Unless Jonathan went outside of the realms of politics and found those with no political allegiance would he have found those without stigma. Tinubu is largely responsible for the APC win - is he less corrupt than those that you named? |

what did d pdp do when 5 of their governors left dem? then baba left, den agrieved members in d wake of post primaries. Niger state governor even went as far as sendin his deputy out of government house instead of luring d guy back. d deputy left wit many stalwarts.... they openly condoled corruption even as its consequences bit hard on the electorates...in niger it was even oppression of the electorates and while d apc were busy sensitising d electorates to collect pvc n vote, pdp were looking for buharis cert, abusing d army n telling us he's too old. imagine!! if u ask me, i'd say pdp did more for apc's victory than d apc did for demselves. 2 Likes |

My only concern is, what is the secret pact with Kashumu that made Jonathan preferred him to Obasanjo As for FFK, he had a personal hate mission against Buhari, maybe PDP thought they could ride on that. Wrong calculation 1 Like |

mmsen: No sane, responsible and non corrupt president on the surface of the earth hires questionable and tainted people or people under criminal investigation. Only Jona in Nigeria does You attacked Jonathan and claimed he is corrupt (without proof) but the nature of Nigerian politics is that most people involved have been involved in or have benefited from corruption. Unless Jonathan went outside of the realms of politics and found those with no political allegiance would he have found those without stigma. You have to be personally and mentally corrupt first to say and believe that stealing is not corruption You have to be personally corrupt if the only pool to pick from is the one polluted with corrupt people under your own efcc investigation for corruption. You have to be very and personally corrupt to hire a corrupt individual you are prosecuting for corruption to be your campaign spokesman and to sell your your re election candidacy to Nigerians and not only that, to give the same corrupt individual you are prosecuting for corrupt armed Nigerian police protection and escort. Tinubu is largely responsible for the APC win - is he less corrupt than those that you named? If Tinubu is corrupt, then please tell us why your commander in chief and the chief law enforcement officers of the federal republic of Nigeria won't arrest, prosecute and put him in jail and the last time your useless GEJ put Tinubu on trial for corruption, they found nothing and his worthless case was thrown out of courts o what are you talking about? Do you know something your gej and his useless efcc don't know...? 1 Like |

aresa: I have no political affiliations of any kind but the EFCC is not apolitical, never has been - they move when they are told to move. Tinubu is too well connected to be investigated for the Lekki toll gate scam and the various relating land deals. Nigeria has a Freedom of Information Act brought in under the Jonathan administration that is applicable on a Federal level but so far cannot be applied on a state level, hence why Fashola refused to disclose the inner workings of his treasury when a request was made - the fear being that Tinubu and Fashola would be exposed. 'Fayose, Bode George, Doyin Okupe, and Reno Omokri do the final right' lol MIMIKO who have lost credibility at home was imposed on Jimoh Ibrahim and Olusola Oke and others and Jonathan finished Ondo PDP The emergence of Omisore as guber candidate in Osun too made PDP fail to win in Osun. As far as I'm concerned Engineer Rauf has no reason not to be paying salaries any more! |

Eluwilussit:So Yuguda,Dakingari,Babangida and Sambo all worked for the North at the detriment of their personal political carriers? If all the North conspired as all of you alludes, why will Kano state with more than 4million pvs collection only recorded 1.9million votes for Buhari? Infact, if the North did half of what people from the South did; you would have been hearing of 30million votes for Buhari. 2 Likes |

Wsdm: What does that have to do with the prevalence of polio in the north? The prevalence of fistula in the north? Why is child marriage still an issue in the north? What of the issue of malnutrition in the north? The rate of illiteracy in the north? The high rate of poverty in the north? The appalling WAEC and NECO results in the north (http://nationalmirroronline.net/new/13-northern-states-trail-in-waec-results/)? Why do northern muslims resort to violence so often? Why do the muslims in the mid and south west not behave so barbarically? You have leaders who have done and continue to do a dreadful job of elevating northern people and still you champion them. You are at best slaves, not just to the crooks that you bow to who call themselves your religious and political leaders but also to the wider Ummah who have no regard for you. |

mmsen: They shouldn't be told to do anything, they should just do their job as defined by the creating laws, acts and the Nigerian constitution. They are non functional, unproductive and ineffective because they have been grossly corrupted, politicised and compromised by the same people we put in charge to appoint their leaders and supervise them. They can not effectively arrest and prosecute offenders when the president swipes offenders away from the EFCC by hiring them to fill top government positions and in another position to loot and steal. The president undermines and sabotages our law enforcement agencies. Tinubu is too well connected to be investigated for the Lekki toll gate scam and the various relating land deals. Tinubu is just one man and he's not above the president of Nigeria or even the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria. Saying he's well connected is rubbish because the same GEJ didn't see the connection when he put Tinubu of trial for corruption. The court found nothing on Tinubu and the case was thrown out so this is not about connection, but about you just making up bogus allegations that even your government and his enemies couldn't pin on him. Fashola functions under the laws and constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria so feel free to take him to court to address your concerns. |

mmsen:My post was targeted at correcting the wailing of the South even when the chips are down. If you are talking about polio due to negligence by some, i may also have to rmind you of HIV , pick ,poketers, prostitutes, armed robbery, kidnapping etc, etc etc. The fact that the North are politically more matured does not mean it has clean slate in all ramification. |

someone rightly describe him as a bird 'give him food and he will sing for u'. To me he is nt committed to anybody's cause or any political goal, he just abt quick money. But they shd stop the blame game. Where did they put their brains when he was campaigning or character assasinating GMB. GEJ and PDP did not call him to order, which means they supported everyth he said and did. So they all underestimated GMB and probably nigerians, they failed together. |
Re: Our Biggest Mistake Was To Appoint Fani- Kayode As Jonathan’s Campaign Manager by mmsen: 6:16pm On Apr 05, 2015 |
Wsdm: What does political maturity mean and why does that northern political maturity not lead to any kind of development? Why are you so far behind in all indices? Education, health, quality of life, gender equality. Kidnapping has largely abated in the south and is nothing compared to what has happened in the north east of late, lest we forget the Chibok girls are still missing. The petty crime that you listed is no where near as destructive (nor is it exclusive to the south) as the senseless violence that northerners so frequently engage in against their neighbors, the silly rioting, the petty pogroms. Are you animals or human beings? As to you bringing up HIV/AIDS: In some regions of Nigeria girls marry relatively young, often to much older men. Studies have found those who are married at a younger age have less knowledge about HIV and AIDS than unmarried women, and are more likely to believe they are low-risk for becoming infected with HIV. 18 HIV and AIDS education initiatives need to ensure they focus on married girls, as they are less likely to have access to health information than unmarried girls. 19 However, the need to improve knowledge about HIV among girls overall (both married and unmarried) remains, as HIV prevention knowledge is significantly less among girls (aged 15-19), compared to boys. 20 Addressing the social and cultural factors that contribute to early sexual debut among girls, notably gender inequality, in Nigeria is integral to successful HIV prevention among this group. In North Western Nigeria around half of girls are married by age 15 and four out of five girls are married by the time they are 18. 21 Twice as many girls than boys are engaging in sexual activity before the age of 15 years. http://www.avert.org/hiv-aids-nigeria.htm Again, the root cause of the HIV problem is a lack of education and child marriage which is most pervasive in which region? Again, the north. Because you cannot see how behind the bell curve you are you keep pushing a senseless northern agenda. You guys have a long way to go to get to the 20th century, not to speak of the 21st. |
