Let the Oba apologize publicly for denigrating a people first and assure them that no harm will befall them as threatened. It doesn't mean he'll be honest about it but he'll be held to his words n he'll have to call his touts n thugs to order. If he's too big to apologize then he's also big enough to take the vituperations n insults that come his way cos he brought it on himself.

Did he or Lagos dash d Igbos he has singled out whatever properties n businesses they have? Did they n do they not pay for them? The Constitution is greater than that office n guarantees all Nigerians freedom to reside, work n do business wherever they like.

If u want to participate in S/E politics, go there n live, establish ur businesses n pay ur dues. Igbos don't get anything handed them on a platter n they don't even expect it so if u have a socialist outlook, it won't work in Igbo land. Shebi Igbos are branded as money lovers n grubbers who'll do anything for money? Oya, carry it n go n entice them!

The Oba shld learn tact n diplomacy, that's how to be a father to all, not lash out at a set of ppl n expect dem to hang their heads in docility.

You may never achieve what he has achieved in life. And it is not certain you will ever have the luxury of moving close to him. Governors will spend 8 years max and leave the Oba will remain.

If Igbos really want to test their popularity they should get an Igbo candidate as governor and all vote him. Then Igbos can really send a clear message to the Oba. As it stands Oba wants Ambode to win. He claims nobody knows how he chose him..even Tinubu doesnt know. Agabje is Obas blood relative. So if Igbos say we hate the Oba we will vote his blood relative as governor are they expecting agbaje to put the interest of Igbos first before the Oba. It will do Igbois like film trick when the first person Agabje will go and greet is the Oba while some people recieve curses on their lineage for misguided utterances against the Oba.

All "omoluabis" in Yorubaland must commend OPC for this. It is at last finding its voice, after the damage done to its image by its two leaders recently. I am proud to be a Yoruba man.

Enough of the unbecoming vituperations directed at one of the custodians of our cultures and traditions. It's only those without culture and tradition that will stretch this matter further.
