lalasticlala: Talk of Baby-Bloggers and Beer Parlor tale bearers, this is a typical example. It defies all logic and reasoning and the ill-informed sentimental argument is nauseating. Xray the 2 candidates and tell me which is better. Agbaje, a pseud-pharmaceutical entrepreneur who could not develop his business beyond a single outlet in over 2 decades, who could not withstand the heat from local competition like Fidson, Emzor, Juli etc, abandoned his core business for politics where he had been consistently jumping from one party to the other in his desperation for guber nomination. Let's leave the source of his funding for now. From the foregoing, one can deduce that Agbaje has never successfully managed a business concern involving 100 people. He is a desperate politician without any ideology whatsoever beyond his self interest. ''If party A will not nominate me as governorship candidate, I will go to party B''. Desperation all the way and this will be manifested fully in the eventuality of him loosing this election. Agbaje will have no qualms aligning with APC. To me, it would be suicidal to entrust the biggest economy in Nigeria in such a person. Ambode, a technocrat of repute who was pivotal to the various developmental issues in the state spanning many regimes. A creative administrator as evidenced in his numerous achievements whilst in service. An international and award-winning scholar. A civil servant with envious track records that cannot be overturned easily. Well read, adequately exposed, internationally recognized. To me, there is no basis for comparing them, the 2 belong to different worlds and Ambode's is far far ahead of Agbaje's and in a sane clime, Ambode will definitely send Agbaje to the dust bin of history that he truly belongs. 4 Likes |

A Governorship Candidate that wants to Bring Back Okadas to our highways. I mean what kind of backward thinking candidate is that? Is that the progress we dream about when we all sleep. Surely not! These PDP people are simply not competent for the mantle of leadership. But APC is. Vote Akinwunmi Ambode for continuity in Lagos State. Eko o ni Baje. 6 Likes |

I take this as a political campaign for a party (PDP) in Lagos. It is OK to campaign for a party but just note that Ambode will be voted governor of Lagos state on Saturday. There is nothing PDP and their e-gladiators on nairaland can do about it. 5 Likes |

poppincash: You my friend do not have a logical reasoning ability. For the nation, my interest was in someone that will move Nigeria forward and the foremost issues were Corruption and Security. Buhari fitted that bill. For Lagos, my interest is sustenance of present developmental path: Ambode fits that bill. I won't want a driver and employ one with a M.Sc because he speaks phonetics, the person MUST match the job. A solidly good 185/65 tyre would not do not do the driver any good if his other 4 tyres are 135/65. So I hope you now understand better what people mean by "a square peg in a round hole"? I simply always select the peg that fits the hole I want covered. |

anonimi: And in ALL this post of yours, you haven't wondered why ruling party (PDP) couldn't go against him all this while but they were going against their own Ibori? Some of you must really lack the capacity to think things through. PS: it was also widely rumoured that he was wanted in US, yet he went to US to attend a President's inauguration. Was the FBI or CIA on leave while Tinubu was in Washington DC? |

Maybe we Yorubas are sophisticated enough to give a second chance and to understand how not to throw away the baby with the bath water. pdp can't rule lagos, the FG's feeding bottle has been won from pdp, while many of their chieftains focussing lagos to be under their control in hope of sucking her resources dry simply because pdp is the most currupted party in Africa. |

Lol I at the APC supporters on the forum. They orchestrated the slogan Change which swayed the polity and gave them a win @the federal level, no they be here crying about how bad it is to use the fault of a man to to render justice to APC... Hahahaha. Let me ask where was there conscience when they used Jonathan as a yardstick to vote out pdp who in the last 16years also contributed to development of naija? Politics is really funny sha |
