ilugunboy:na Ilungunboy invite them . Seriously, we shouldn't even be talking this things considering that the same Ohanaeze in 2007 supported Fashola. No one accused Fashola or Tinubu of promoted Igbo or non indigen agenda when Igbokwe and Akabueze were hired in 2006. I am yet to hear Jimi denigrate the Yoruba tribe. Let's be fair to the man. 1 Like |

barcanista: What ethnic fight?? A lot of you guys have capitalized on the carelessness of one man and has made it seem like the entire APC came together with the Oba, held his hands and said what he said in unison. What annoys me is this obsession with Lagos state, calling it a failure like it's not the best governed state in Nigeria right now. If we want to move this country forward, let's do it based on truth. Almost 30 out of 36 states in the this country could be regarded as failed states, yet we all want to hang on to Lagos as if it's Lagos causing the failure of others. Let's focus on the states with real issues. Let's ask the governor of Bayelsa why the state is still the way it is even though it's number 2 in allocation. Let's ask the governor of delta why the state hasn't developed way more than it has with their allocation. Let's ask why Abia streets are decorated with trash yet the people there rewarded him by electing him senator. The man has turned the state into a family empire and you guys obsess over Tinubu. Let's talk about Ebonyi, Kogi, Benue, etc. You guys leave all those failures and want to come to Lagos to nit pick. Lagos has been experiencing steady development and it'll continue doing so, Lagos will be fine. Focus on other states if you truly love Nigeria. We want a man with experience and the right qualifications not a man that can't even run and grow his shop successfully 10 Likes 1 Share |

barcanista: In 2011 and in previous elections.....the Igbos have play the politics of neutrality and allow their people to vote according to their concience.... until 2015, when PDP as usual brought in their brand of politics to Lagos.....and knowing that the religion card will never work in Lagos since both parties have managed to present Xtians as candidates....they turned to the divisive politics of tribe.....Igbos have lived in Lagos for years without having any issue with Yorubas, but PDP just messed all that. Thank goodness...some wise Igbo are seeing what this Agbaje/PDP campaign is all about...... 8 Likes |

Re: The Issue Of Tribe In This Election And Jimi Agbaje by Nobody: 11:26am On Apr 09, 2015 |
ilugunboy:on the contrary it is the APC that is blowing it out of proportion. The PDP never tribalised the appointment of Akabueze and igbokwe in 2007. They never tribalised the unanimous endorsement of fashola by the same Ohanaeze in 2007. Why is the APC crying tribalism in 2015? The moment we start to look beyond tribe the better for us as humans. Jimi and Ambode are Yorubas, likewise their Deputies. So why can't we see his supporters as those that believe in him and not the igbo/non indigen agenda? Are there no Yorubas in Jimi's camp? Are there no non yorubas in Ambode's camp? Why can't APC be civil for once? |

You JK people continue oh. Before your divisive politics, Lagos was a home for all tribes. Now you are sowing discord and making our Igbo brothers feel unwelcome. Anyway, the truth will always prevail. Ambode remains the man for the job. Governor of Lagos State. Change! 1 Like |

If its true that Agbaje is from a royal family i e. Lasunwon ruling house in Ikorodu, he will not engage in promises he knows he will never realise Does he know what it is to promise a full igbo king in lagos. He should thank god that the Ayangbure of ikorodu is late something serious would have happened. I voted him in 2007 without been canvassed, but now, i can tell him that the king makers are against him. we congratulate AMBODE. 8 Likes |

The mass defection of politicians from other parties to the apc that won the presidential elections on march 28 should teach all Nigerians a lesson. These were the parties people were abusing and killing themselves for before March 28, the same people shouting Jonathan yesterday are now shouting Buhari now, even Governors and assembly members that will be elected on Saturday the 11th of April on the platform of other parties will also decamp to the apc to align themselves with the so called centre, can't we see that these politicians are only playing the game of chess with Nigerians? They are not foes or enemies as we think, its only a game so why all the stress, Please let's pledge Peace for our beloved Nation. 1 Like |

mrmetoo1: I always laugh hard when i read jargons that hypocrite post everywhere. So Lagos is now a failed state. Wonderful! @Jimi, Omo ale ni e. You are the evil that is causing trouble in Lagos recently, you have been trying to cause problems among Yoruba/Igbos because of your tribal politics. You are not more Lagosian than me and you will never govern our state by Gods grace. Keep sharing your evil pamphlet/leaflet, we will keep helping you spread your divisive message to all Yorubas. 9 Likes |

Theofficialseun: E go do dem like film, egun to ba koko Jo, Iran lo ma wo gbehin. People are decamping from pdp to APC in Oshodi, dem be like "iya won, jimi bawo, ti jagaban o ti ku?". This is what is happening all over Lagos at the moment. Jimi shouldn't have played tribal politics, as it is now Jimi winning this election is like Obi of Onitsha becoming an Alafin of Oyo. 3 Likes |

barcanista: No.....I was only piqued by your attempt to downplay the giant strides that the APC has done in Lagos ..with limited resources.....exploding population and inadequate space. Given all the limitations.....the APC in Lagos have performed well above any state in Nigeria....you should acknowledge that (even JK never deny it) while selling your candidate strong points. 1 Like |

ilugunboy: Given the over 53 times increase in IGR since 1999 and increase of over 10 times in its budget since 2000 compared to what it has achieved in the ENTIRE Lagos state, taking into account what Jakande did in four years (1979-1983), one can confidently say APC of thief'nuibu cabal has been a massively comprehensive FAILURE and a fraudulent SCAM. https://www.nairaland.com/2238647/better-lagos-possible It is for this reason, Lagosians will vote for change to BETTER life in Lagos going forward.
