Hello House, I got this message on 8 April, 2015 after submitting my application online, please I want to know the next step. Thank you. Dear ****************** This refers to your application for a Canadian temporary resident visa, work permit, or study permit. The purpose of this letter is to inform you that you are required to have your fingerprints scanned and your photograph taken. FOR USE AT BIOMETRIC COLLECTION FACILITIES: Family Name: **************** Given Name: *************** Date of Birth:************* Gender:************** Country of Birth: Nigeria Citizenship: Nigerian CIC No.:000********* This letter is also your proof that: • you have paid the biometric fee or • you have claimed an exemption from the biometric fee in your application under section 315.1 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. If you are determined not to be exempt from the fee, CIC will contact you directly to tell you your fee payment options. What you need to do next? You need to visit a biometric collection service point, such as a Visa Application Centre (VAC), in person to have your fingerprints and photograph taken. If you are in the United Sates, you may go to the closest USCIS Application Support center (ASC) office of the address you provided on your application form. You can find a complete list of biometric collection service points as well as the hours of operation on the website of Citizenship and Immigration Canada at: If you receive a biometric instruction letter after your 80th birthday: • If you are in the United States – take the letter to a USCIS Application Support Centre (ASC) and not a visa application centre; • If you are outside the United States – contact a Canadian visa office to arrange an appointment to give your biometrics. Note: Visa application centres cannot collect biometrics from individuals who are 80 years old or older. Important Information You must visit a biometric collection service point to have your fingerprints and photograph taken within thirty (30) days of the date of this letter, otherwise your application may be refused. Please contact your nearest Canadian visa office to advise us if you will be unable to provide your biometrics within the 30 day period as requested in this letter. Please note: Your 30 days expires on If your application is refused, you will have to submit a new application and pay all the applicable fees. Some injuries and medical conditions may affect your ability to provide your ten (10) fingerprints or photograph. If your injury or condition is temporary, you should wait until the injury heals or condition improves before appearing to have your fingerprints and photograph taken. What you need to bring with you? When you visit a biometric collection services point, you must bring the following: • a copy of this letter, • the passport or travel document that you used in your application Why is CIC collecting my fingeprints and photograph? This information will be used under the Immigration and refugee Protection Act to determine if you may be admitted to Canada. Your fingerprints may also be shared with law enforcement agencies in Canada and may be used for the enforcement of any Canadian or provincial law. Being an excellent subordinate is not enough for a boss to sponsor you, it is better for the organization to sponsor than for a boss to do personally. it is also better for your hubby to wait for yours to come out before submitting his so that you can pull your resources together. why is everyone ignoring me??
|

Ugochux, You need to go and do biometrics at VFS office at Lekki. You should have done it the next day. Its not too late though. First thing on Monday, try to get to Lekki 3rd round about and search for Manor house( VFS) office. Go with your Passport and 2 photocopies of your biodata page and also a copy of this letter 1 Like |

ariyibioladokun:Am assuming he's well paid considering the obvious that he's your boss. It's not compulsory for him to use the company's doc as he doesn't own the company. He can also use his own employment docs i.e employment letter, bank statement, payslip and other financial docs to sponsor u as an individual. He will write a sponsorship letter saying why(which must be a more reasonable and genuine reason other than the one U gave earlier)he wants to co-sponsor u and what he wants to help you with while u study. |

i just have reservation on both of you going to study abroad at the same time, will seems like a plot to run away. no home ties etc . your boss may sponsor you but it doesnt sound convincing enough to me o, why will your boss sponsor you? just because you suppoeted him well is enough for him to do so? you are both an emplyees, he is not the owner of the business, ? what is his benefit or gain in sponsoring your education. all these are just my opinion. i stand to be corrected
|

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by ariyibioladokun: 2:57pm On Apr 10, 2015 |
slimmy2000: Okay you feel we should not apply at the same time. But he has made payments for his school fees, hes first semester fees has been paid. if he now request for refund and all that and i add him as my depend ant. Will my he be able to study later on after getting open work permit if successful. Because he actually wants to study too genuinely, and may even come back cos he will be giving study letter of maximum of months from his employer. We decided to apply differently because he wants to study too, and on the CIC web,if one doesn't apply before entering u will apply outside Canada for study permit. |
