The change was wrong, I agree. Xavi wasn't need in such a fast-paced grueling match, but no coach is perfect. They make mistake from time to time.

I was unable to watch the match, but trust me to follow it live via my phone. Immediately I read Ney was pulled off for Xavi, I asked why and what for? We were leading then and the coach wanted to have more control in the midfield, an idea that was very okay. But to have traded the much lively attack for the needed control was the error not forgetting that their active defence had to be pushed back.
@JP, at this juncture, hardly would you see any cule criticising Lucho these days since he had maintained balance in the team. But to say he didn't make mistake last night is not acceptable even after he himself had admitted he made one. We are human and as such are liable to error at one point or the other. He made one last night and the team paid for it. No one said we will never drop points, but you will agree with me that dropping points as that of last night could be costly at the end of the season.

I guess you still don't get the point of debate up there bro. The argument is not on the fact that we had a draw, but what possibly led to the draw. In some few matches before the last, so many of us clamoured for Neymar to either be taken off or even rested because of his off form. But going by his play yesterday, he was a constant threat to the opponent, pushing their defence back by his constant trouble. If he was not taken off, yes, Sevilla might equalise but we might have also scored a winning goal. So, it's a two way thing.
May I humbly put this question to you: would you have taken off Ney for Xavi last night or someone else were you the coach?

haba honeric, lol. It's clear to point out the error of bravo for the first goal and the error of pique for the second. Now answer me this : can you point a finger on any sevilla player for Messi' goal or for neymar' free kick? Of course not. Now understanding it this way; we are not berating the team for drawing with sevilla. I personally expected is to lose or draw at sevilla' home. If it had ended 0-0 fine. If we were leading 1 - 0 and they came back to equalize 1-1 fine. Even if they had beaten us 1-0 or 2-0 from the onset fine. But if you are a real madrid or a bayern Munich or a Chelsea or a Barcelona, and any team comes back on you from 2-0 down and you lose points in the process, then my brother questions have to be asked. For me the problem wasn't drawing or even losing the game, it was giving up a 2-0 advantage. I tell you most of us could have felt better with sevilla 1 Barcelona 0, than what happened last night. It was like seeing your ecstasy turn to sadness in minute.
