I have been a diehard supporter of Okorocha here on Nairaland and want to dedicate this thread to Okorocha's victory. He is one man that faced the biggest conspiracy in this election orchestrated from both State and federal level. The Catholic Church and fake Imo widows are not left out. Rochas Okorocha understood right from onset that he needed to work for the "Talakawas" and not the elites who are but fair weather friends that will always swing to wherever seems rosy. He launched massive road constructions in interior villages as well as built new schools for them. He gave scholarship so that everyone can go to school which angered the elite who previously used that as a political weapon by having many students under there sponsorship. Rochas made it a matter of choice to get educated.

Education standard is high and the so-called China roads are exactly same across Nigeria and the world for trunk "c" roads. The masses know and laugh at those telling those lies. You seem to forget that hospitality and tourism is a huge industry that sustains nations. Under Okorocha Owerri became a choice destination for both local and international tourists.

Popularity can win him votes, just like it did for GMB, but he is not the best igbos can offer. I like the man, but he is not the best for Igbo presidency.

APC in IMO state performance during march 28th presidential election signified big ability.

The governor tried a lot, winning the election is a great feat for him and the party.
