You know that what happened in Rivers wasn't an election. It was Patience Jonathan vs Amaechi. She had to be in Abuja commanding things. She couldnt afford Okrika to be in APC hands. Too risky for her. And also I understand the desperation of PDP to cover up lost grounds. Even international observers recommended cancellation. This definitely will not stand. Am sure there will be another election in Rivers state. The question now is how long can these last especially with APC being in Power and majority in Abuja NASS.?? THE answer is obvious. "NOT VERY LONG"

I'm very happy with the results. Wike should be made times magazine man of the year. Amaechi is a complete disgrace to we from the South South and Niger Delta. He's a complete failure. No son or daughter of the South South dines with a hausa / fulani.

Oil producing states are powerless over their resources under this constitution. What business do the oil companies have with the states? They remit the money directly to the federal government. Then the federal government shares it among the states.

Blame GEJ for not working towards resource control.

The petroleum industrial bill was meant to resolve all that anomalies but the thieving cabals stood against it by collecting bribes from the IOCs to maintain the status quo.

This result shows that Riverians hate amaechi(for not supporting Jonathan) and APC,amaechi should stop all this rallying for cancellation & concede defeat as others have been doing,atleast a job awaits him in Abuja.

I think if the election is held 10 times,the only improvement will be that PDP will win

For the records, INEC says that result sheets are meant to be displayed at the polling units after the vote. I saw NOT ONE in Rivers State.

That is just the truth. No rivers man wiil ever allow it to go to Buhari even if all of them are sick and in admission. We made a mistake during the time Osho of Edo state believing that we are one Nigeria and fought pdp to a stand still and finally give that state to the now apc. That cannot repeat itself. We are more than even two Nigeria from this election. It is very clear that the entire north and the west except that powerful young man call Fayose who stood his grand and still give Ekiti to GEJ and pdp. It was clear gang up against the south south. From now on, the separation has kicked off. Every regions should go its ways. Period.

Amaechi proved his point afterall;

Hon Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly for 8 solid years

Governor of Rivers State for 2 terms of 8 solid years

He said he will kick Jona out of Aso Rock irrespective of the consequences and guess what?.... [size=14pt]HE SUCCESSFULLY SENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN BACK TO OTUOKE[/size] grin

All these and yet some losers think Amaechi is a failure?... Being unable to plant his stooge as governor of Rivers is inconsequential when you consider his successes listed above. From all indications, Amaechi shall relocate to Abuja where he will continue to remain relevant in the bigger scheme of things. The real loser here is Dakuku and 'maybe' the people of Rivers State who may have just elected a tout controlled by Mama Peace as their governor all because they wanted to punish Amaechi (who would be wining and dining in Abuja).

I can just Imagine Hon. Evans Bipi being the Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly grin cheesy

People are still bitter about buhari thumping Jonathan With Amaechi as his right hand man and his chief financier and campaign manager . When amaechi dumped pdp there was celebration in Port Harcourt. They said pdp was better off and that the party would do better without amaechi. Now they are crying that he is a betrayer. Lol hypocrites. They say he followed the northerners. When the g7 governors left the pdp, Jonathan was almost licking the shoes of the abok1 governors while he refused to even give amaechi audience. Jonathan is still the biggest abok1 as& licker. And we all know this. Amaechi is going to the federal cabinet and like it or not, in this apc regime he will be a bigger man than wike.

You might be right here but remember Ameachi is not the looser here, Ameachi will be at the helm of affair at the Federal and will do anything to make life unbearable for Wike in River State.. When ever Ameachi is visiting Wike will be doing welcome sir for him cos he Ameachi will be a strong minister under GMB..
