They wouldn't find any fault in Tinubu re-colonizing them unless the buyers are Asari Dokubo and Government Tompolo (with fair prices) will they realize the danger and thus start shouting National pride, thieves and corruption as if Tinubu and Dangote are saints. We are watching their foot soldiers trying to makeup a defense for them already. Thank goodness, there are many softwares to bypass censorships. It's a pity that the acclaimed social and human right defenders are already surrendering their arms to those ready to devour the country by their antecedents. I weep in 3D 5 Likes 2 Shares |

IsraeliAIRFORCE: The southwest has no single pre-colonial opposition figures like other peoples in the south. Ask them for their Jaja of Opobo or Nana of Isekiri or any of their monarchs who was forced to exile like the then Oba of Binin. They have none! The Yorubas opened their doors to the British willingly because of the threat of the Jihadis in places like Kwara. Colonialization owes it's victory in the southwest were the Yorubas gave the British a firm footing into Nigeria. The Southwest has since continued to play servant to the west. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Yes. Wouldn't you? I thought the issue here isn't these assets but for that fact that the person involve here is Tinubu, and why if I may ask? Besides this is open for and to the public base on bidding? Right? Like said earlier i'm in support of this as long as it's legal. None is robbing any here, jonathan, tonpolo,Asari et al are welcome ain't they? The word''legal '' as justify is it all. IsraeliAIRFORCE: |

Twistaray: Read and digest, this is Nigeria where sentiments are drawn along political, tribal, regional and religious lines Tompolo ‘contract': NIMASA Threatens To Sue APC The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency on Sunday gave the All Progressives Congress 72 hours to retract some alleged malicious statements made by the party against the agency. The Director-General of NIMASA, Dr. Patrick Akpobolokemi, gave the ultimatum at a news conference on Sunday in Lagos. Akpobolokemi said if the APC failed to tender an apology in 72 hours, the agency would adopt legitimate and lawful means to seek redress. The director-general said APC alleged that NIMASA contracted the nation’s maritime security to a private firm, claimed to be owned by Mr Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo. The DG said, “I hereby unequivocally state that this accusation is false. NIMASA neither entered into any such security contract with any private company nor with Tompolo. “Let me reiterate here that we have instructed our solicitors to give our accusers the opportunity of retracting their unfounded allegations, failing which we shall take all necessary steps to seek redress. “The agency entered into partnership with a competent Nigerian maritime company; Global West Vessels Specialist Limited to provide its platforms to patrol the coastline. “With the involvement of Global West, the Public Private Partnership arrangement now boasts of various categories of boats, contrary to what obtained in the past. “The PPP project has also made it possible for the agency to provide suitable platforms to the relevant security agencies collaborating with us to fight piracy and other sundry security breaches in our waters. “Memoranda of Understanding have been signed and are being implemented between the Nigerian Navy, the Nigerian Air Force and the NIMASA. “Contrary to widespread speculation, Global West did not buy warships for NIMASA.” He explained that the MoU with the Nigerian Navy and the Nigerian Air Force had enhanced water patrol and aerial surveillance of Nigeria’s maritime domain. The director-general also described as worrisome recent reports that the agency was sponsoring adverse documentary against the APC ahead of the forthcoming general elections. He denied the allegations and appealed to politicians to leave the agency alone. Source:http://www.punchng.com/news/tompolo-contract-nimasa-threatens-to-sue-apc/ besttrader: besttrader: |

IsraeliAIRFORCE: I said earlier in this thread that service delivery is key irrespective of whoever, if asari or tompolo can deliver service let them buy up the assets after all, the vessels NIMASA uses for their enforcement on sea and other security purposes are owned by tompolo on a public-private partnership which is working very well [I am involved in the maritime industry to know this], heavens have not fallen and the contract is still on. Anyone who will tun around those FG assets for maximum productivity is welcome, Let's stop blacklisting ourselves as Ngerians, Dstv is there mesmerizing us about and we can't do anything but we only know how to blacklist ourselves. Let's exploit our strengths as a nation instead of focusing on our weaknesses, this is where the developed nations are ahead of us |

IsraeliAIRFORCE: Lagos state is the most managed state in Nigeria now hence the explosive population and some folks trying to claim its ownership, if Lagos has been managed like the other states in Nigeria, perhaps we may have been competing with somalia now. Thanks to Tinubu a man of vision who saw where Nigeria should be headed, you guys can keep on ranting all you like, for GMB to partner with tinubu, then it means you guys have update your mental faculties and find a vision for your life. Perhaps all the lectures you have been giving on this forum should be for your personal consumption. Nigeria is moving ahead and if you guys want to remain backward, its left to you, Tinubu is not your problem but yourself |
