All the coneheads and a.b.okis were all missing action on this thread. Why?

www.nairaland.com/2263635/south-east-south-west-south-south-lead-attainment/5#32856690
The coneheads were busy driving through the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge, a suspension bridge, built by a Yoruba Governor

the ab0.kis were busy driving through the OBJ bridge, the longest flyover bridge in west africa, built by a Hausa Governor

the Igbos were busy gloating over nothing whilst still begging jonatan their Ijaw master to help them build the 2nd niger bridge

In summary he has two plants in the north central, one in the South west.
Why not ask for his investments in his home region the North west before asking about the South east? What about North east? What about South south? He is only planning to set up one in Calabar, as of now he doesn't have any investment in the South South.
For north west he has a 70000 hectare sugarcane plantation with a projected output one million metric tonnes of sugar..i served in the town it's located kebbi state and paint factory
In kano he has a tomato processing plant
In northeast gombe. He owns part of ashaka cement and he reportedly is.dinalising plans to buy savannah sugar company..
Also in bauchi, he is building a petroleum refinery that is at about 60 - 70 % completion at the moment..
These are the ones I know off my head.. but I know if you dig down in kano and katsinia you will find more investmwnts

Nobody is talking about price here. Who is the market leader in terms of volume of sales in the south east, Dangote or ibeto?

Let me give you a personal experience. There is massive construction of different privately owned student hostels and lodges at Unizik Permanent site. Ifite-Awka is a massive construction site right now. Everyday you see at least 5 Ibeto cement trucks and 2 dangote truck. Now you be the judge.

3) The Apap port in Lagos is federal owned, however Governor Fashola is currently building the Lekki deep seaport in Lagos too alongside Dangote's Oil refinery and petrochemical plant which upon completion would argueably the largest in africa.

4) what has stopped your worthless soutbeat governors from doind same? Why are they crying, begging and wailing?
Who gives a damn? You are a conehead about to suffer Dangote's industrial pollution and exploitation with attendant low standard quality of living, inaddition to Fashola's APC scam propaganda yet we are prospering....

What IGR? Almost all South east states have a higher IGR than Kano
so what has stopped your Heebo governor from building you the 2nd niger bridge? Why are you still begging jonatan, your Ijaw master?

Atleast, Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso recently commissioned the Obj Bridge in Kano, the longest flyover in West Africa

There are several excuses for failure, but never any for success. In one breath, you say you run the economy... In the next breath you say the economy is skewed in favor of northerners. Can you see how confused you are?

Don't want to drag this one with your quota systemed brain. Just have this in mind; it will take you and yours a generation of painstaking efforts to bridge the gap. A dangote here and there will never better a community of millionaires. Being successfull business wise in a wierd economy with witchunting state policies takes a lot of skills. It affects everyone if you got your start by stealing cars and stripping them down to be sold as spare parts. This acts of criminality is behind what you guys refer to as business acumen.

Why is this idi0tic nyamiri slowpoke foaming in the mouth like an epileptic patient?

Dangote's industrial facilities are not sitted in residential areas. Your accursed region is the one battling gulley erosion and landslide.

I am not from Lagos neither am i Yoruba. Fashola scammed Lagosians yet he is currently building them an additional seaport while the entire Heebo race is still begging for one. Are you Igbos cursed?

And in terms of social responsibility. He pays 30% of all fees in the two state owned universities in kano and bayero university.. essentially almost all the university students of kano state benefit from him.

I doubt all the claims that he manages our wealth that was stolen by northern generals as someone mentioned in this thread, , such claims without proof can be termed hating..

Anyway ordinary state scholarship no de east talk more of privately funded scholarships..

No point arguing with you. Dangote controls the cement market in all regions in Nigeria followed by Larfage that comes in a distant second place. Ibeto accounts for less than 10% of the Nigerian market and they are not market leaders in any region.

So, when you talk about competition, don't mention Dangote and Ibeto in same sentence cos they are miles apart. Finally, if Dangote controls the cement market in the south east, I don't see any reason why he should not invest heavily in the region. In essence, he his short changing the south east by producing and creating jobs in another region and selling only to them. Stop the excuse please.

People would invest where it is economically viable. As an earth scientist and having visited Ogbajana, having a cement plant there is economically viable with regards to easy access to raw materials. A whole lot of economic and social issues also clouds investments. I sincerely feel the people/bunch of millionaires from the south eastern region should and could do more with specifics to economic upliftment, that could ultimately translate to better lives. Visited every region of this country except the southeast, but stories I got from my sister and brother who schooled and did their national service respectively sadly does not give me good vibes. They can and should do more. Maybe a sincere tax regime might not swing up the 'dangote investment question'.

Where did you study your own economics or business? Big businesses do not stay away from markets where there are only small or marginal players. If they do it is often because it is not profitable for them or there are too much risks due to instability.
There is no business in iboland strong enough to intimidate Dangote.

This is a business mogul actually the richest black man on earth who sees business opportunities where average business men don't. He has investments in south west and north and north central even across Africa. But none in igbo land.

Does it literally mean south east is unfavourable for big enterprises to rise?

There is a saying in the UK that 'You can't carry coal to Newcastle'. Newcastle, being where coal was being mined in large quantities. So a reasonable and shrewd businessman would look elsewhere if he wants to export coal.
SE is populated with people with above average business acumen and they have since covered the areas where the Dangotes would want to invest. So to avoid facing stiff competition he looks for less competative areas.
