Here in our African country - Nigeria. Many young women barely discuss serious topics like sports or international politics. Most are very immature and fairly literate. You now understand why many of them chat with 'k'. 'kkk' 'ayt' 'em'.

This question has really been bothering me for quite some time. From my observation, it seems guys tend to me more versatile and knowledgeable in a lot of areas than ladies.

In public settings, you hardly find women making reasonable arguments and discussions, its just mindless chit-chats and gossip, unlike guys who argue important facets of life like philosophical concepts and politics.

I stayed in the girls hostel in school and I hardly ever witnessed a reasonable argument or discourse.
Even here on Nairaland, I have noticed the same thing. On the religion and politics section for instance, you rarely see ladies involving in intelligent discourse and arguments. Just few.

I stay in lagos and I listen to the radio a lot.
There are particular programs I enjoy listening to such as,
~ Chat station with Nelly
~Morning crossfire, both on Nigeria info 99.3.
A lot of intelligent and educative discussions on various topics are being held on these programs but you find out that 95% of the contributions are made by men.

Why is all this so?. Is it that ladies are scared to share their opinions or they just aren't as wise and knowledgeable as the guys?

The fact that it has not been scientifically proven to be as you said makes your statement very questionable. Asians were also thought to be unintelligent compared to white people in the past but today they usually come top on the intelligence graph.

Perhaps, men are allowed to do it and so are we.

A woman has said she never sees women involved in intelligent conversations and suggests due to that fact, that Nigerian men are more intelligent than the women.

Apart from the fact that women are traditionally at a disadvantage due to our culture and traditions - Nigerian women have proven to ruthless in professional achievement and educational attainment. Those of us that attended the best schools in the world (especially as a Nigerian woman) will tell you Nigerian women are easier to find than men in these institutions.

Because you don't find them lined up on Allen or fixing their nails in Ketu doesn't mean they don't exist, and because they have little to no interest in Nairaland or lack the opportunity to delve into politics doesn't mean they are nowhere to be found.

Tell me how you've gathered these samples analysed your results and adjusted for bias?

Tell me how you've made your comparisons and why exactly you think you carry the capacity to judge anybodies intelligence?
