Your statement didn’t but it was sort of suggestive that by making example of few bigwigs the he might be able to make inroads to fighting corruption.
Obasanjo did exactly that and it didn’t manage to curtail corruption but instead was tagged as a tool used in silencing his political opponents.

Buhari already has a baggage that was somewhat difficult to shift prior to the election. He cannot be seen as vindictive so it’s better he attacks the worm systematically so as to achieve desired results
