As for waiting till 17th, I think it's easier for you to say. Some of us already have neighbours that raise their eyebrows and "yinmu" each time they see us pass. Even a day would be torture.

If you eventually decide to travel though,make sure you travel light. By travelling light,I mean without bed(you will always find a bed to sleep on),without cupboard and other heavy stuffs. Coz if you travel light,the wardens on sighting you will probably think you are just a returning student and incase you are also not able to stay,you can easily go back home.

And for a guy,I can assure you,apart from Angola(which I'm not sure is opened),you will surely find a place to stay and sleep,as far as you are able to get inside the halls(which you should be also be able to).

now this shii is real,went to sleep before thinking that its all a dream I don wake up now,eye don clear

So this postponement thing is real....its really rude of OAU to just do this to us a few days to resumption after waiting for 9 months. But well I've coped for 9 months,whats a 2 weeks wait?
Whats really concerns me is my inability to bed space. Do y'all think I'd be able to get if i go to d DSA personally? Or if i talk to a lecturer? I do know the dean of my faculty...

Lol,u dey vex for oau abi,u neva c anything.just be prepared to spend longer tym in the skul....4 years course =5 or 6 calendar year depending on number of strike b4 you graduate(including ASUU)....dats oau 4 you ask any one.

yes u shud able to get if u go to DSA personal,but be fast about it...also u can squat wit some of ur friends...or you can re but a bed space from other students.
