Jonathan Questions Buhari's Victory by Nobody: 6:11pm On Apr 30, 2015 |
President Goodluck Jonathan has, for the first time, questioned the results of the March 28 presidential election, maintaining that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is still the dominant party in Nigeria. Jonathan had congratulated Muhammadu Buhari, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), before the final result was announced but he said on Thursday that he only did it for the unity of Nigeria. He said the PDP could not have recorded the low scores recorded for him in some areas. The president was speaking at the submission of the report of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation (PPCO) at the new banquet hall of the presidential villa. Jonathan said: “PDP is still the dominant party. If you look at the result, the difference is just over two million votes. And if you look at the areas where it is perceived that PDP scored so low, PDP couldn’t have gotten those kinds of scores.” He said now that the elections are over, “I put the country first”. www.thecable.ng/just-jonathan-questions-buharis-victory 30 Likes 6 Shares |

The margin of APC's victory could have been up to 4million if d fraudulent votes in Rivers, delta and Akwa Ibom had been correctly annulled. GEJ should please do us d favor of keeping quiet and stop these childish acts of his,he is just further tarnishing d very little reputation he garnered after conceding. I now understand all his sackings and appointments. After being forced to concede,he has now come out of his trance and has reverted back to his bitter, mischievous and drunken state that makes him to act out his cluelessness. He should not just do anything foolish because GMB's reconciliatory tone also has its own limit. 203 Likes 12 Shares |

This is why PDP being the main opposition just won't do, they need to be thrown into the dust bin of Nigeria's history. It just doesn't compute with them that people have not been happy with their performance over the past 16 years and were willing to replace them. If you cannot recognise your failure how can you reform? In what twilight zone is spending billions of dollars to give darkness seen as success? In what twisted fantasy is encouraging corruption and bankrupting the country seen as success of a party? This man's handlers seriously lied to him. They don't know that APC won DESPITE all their rigging in certain parts of the country. PDP STILL has nothing good to offer Nigerians. I hope Labour can step up to the plate and grow as a party that can offer Nigeria viable alternatives. 109 Likes 3 Shares |

Jonathan shooting himself on the leg. We know what happened in Rivers, Imo, Delta, Akwa Ibom etc. Buhari decided not to question election in those areas because he won. It was a very fair contest IMO However, I would have preferred a completely rig-free election because it would've exposed how unpopular Jonathan was, really. The rigging mentality has given them so much confidence Over the years that Nigerians like them 75 Likes 4 Shares |

D president should just relax and forget about an election he lost.he should focus on his life after office project. The result from the govship election clearly showed that APC won d election without any form of contradictions. If he says forexample, let d election result from kano be cancelled buhari will still win. He didn't do APC any favor by accepting defeat, there was nothing he would have been able to do because Nigeria is bigger than him and his ambition. 32 Likes 2 Shares |
