Fufu is interesting to eyes and I like chewing food than swallow most of the time. If I have the chance of taking part in the meal I am going to chew fufu definitely and may be sticky in my mouth. I like the thick soup. I would keep it warm and drink it. Ha!!! What is fufu made from?

The soup is semi healthy anyway.
Fresh tomato coloring and little oil plus some tomato sauce on top of the soup.
The beef is the unhealthy part.

But I'm trying o. I love meat ehn embarassed. For me to take that small piece and substitute wih shrimps and crab. Small small cheesy we will get there

Hubby made Ogbolo soup with some serious cow meat and stockfish a few days ago...I dey suffer the consequences of temptation. I ate soooooooooo much meat. Now I've put on 0.5kg. sad sad sad

See "guilty exercising". 1hr 20mins jogging. 45 mins sit-ups and lower abdominal workout. 1 hour cardio (all spread throughout the day)...

Edwife was so on point about beauty being pain. So much work to get the near perfect body. sad sad

We are here to encourage you. Once a while do a detox. Blended fruits and vegetable. Then drink it. Flushes the system.

when ever I over eat, I have only tea for brekkie the next day and off I go until lunch. Before lunch, I stuff myself with salads and water before main meal. easy 600 calories off.

The days of our ancestors. ,They survived days without food.
I just do my normal 30min exercise cheesy

I was thinking back the other day.
It seems our parents make healthy selection more than us.
If I can follow my mum's timetable, I will never ever have need for exercise.

She don't eat foofoo,poundo and garri.
Substitute them with unripe dwarf banana and cocoyam mixed together.
When cooking yam, she will put all d veggie. In her farm. Even a handful of unwashed bitterleaf and surprisingly,the thing no dey bitter.
She prefers cocoyam(that one that's like yam) to yam.
She roasts her chicken and fish instead of frying.
Infact,she don't know how to fry.
(she said if she wanna drink oil,she will add that in her food than frying,lol)
And most importantly, her market is usually early morning so she trekks to where she will enter motor that very early.
What she normally do in d morning b4 goiing is this.
She don't eat but will take a handful eg two spoon of rice (according to her, so that oil will enter her tummy),then drink water and off she goes. Any day she is at home,she will brunch. She actually don't eat much. A plate of pap(her favourite) and a ball of akara will last her till night.

Her figure was complete 8. D tummy was so flat. Never saw any ounce of fat there.
As a matter of fact, then if she remove her cloth and I do the same, I will feel ashamed.
Meanwhile I dey claim ajebo.
Which I can emulate that.

Yes you can. Cucumber, tomatoes , ball pepper. What ever vegetable and fruits you like. So it doesn't affect your taste buds too much.

If you can handle all five of them without sweating, then my, you are fit then. You go girl! smiley

Like she mentioned in the video, a lot of what we are (physically) is 80% based on what we eat. You can have chicken and fries but you just have to eat sensibly. Take the chicken for example, rather than deep fry in fat (oils), I start off by boiling mine with the usual seasoning. Once thoroughly cooked, I then put them in the oven to grill. They come out looking and tasting like fried chicken, but without the oil. Also make sure that you remove the outer skin as that in itself contains a lot of fat.

As per the fries, rather than go for the higher calorific Irish potatoes, why not opt for the lower calorie sweet potatoes? Again, rather than fry, grill them. So you see, you get to eat the same thing, (chicken and chips), but in a smarter, heathier, way.

Oh, and don't forget to have lots of veg on the side. Especially the green ones.

@Moca: Nice one. Was your mumsie into farming? That activity alone burns up a lot of calories. My nan (God rest her soul) used to tell us that she on several occasions, had walked from Ozoro to Warri. shocked shocked shocked

That's nearly a two-hour drive! I think she said she'd done it four times. No wonder she lived well into to her 90's.

I always eat or drink my veg 10 - 15min before meal. Except the meal has plenty vegetables.
