The only grouse I have with Oby was her obsession with the Chibok girls given that she knows more about the abduction than she has publicly acknowledged. Many Nigerians were abducted, as the recent liberation of Sambisa forest has shown, but BBOG campaigners were only concerned about a section of them.

It is my belief that the girls' abduction was one of the plans hatched to bring down the administration of GEJ. It's comparable to 1979 Iranian crisis that was eventually used to defeat Jimmy Carter. President Jonathan did not help matters too by not being decisive or ,say, brutal enough on BH. His stance on the missing $20 billion also did not help. If all he is doing now- sacking APC moles, being more decisive on BH, and seen to be fighting corruption etc .Had he done them earlier,he would have won the election.

Now we are the mercy of 'change' people, but experiences all over the world have shown that politicians that shout change all the time have no specific programmes. Therefore, I shall be watching.

She spoke thoughtfully ,intelligently and articulately in the face on an interview style that was overly intrusive. It is not the job of an interviewer to debate an interviewee but to question . In this case he badgered her quite rudely when he did not give an answer he liked e.g requiring her to give an opinion that was potentially libelous on Obasanjo. She answered the question and he should move on. He cited information from "Wikileaks" as FACTS which of course are debatable. Again when she indicated that she was not a partisan politician he persisted that is debating not interviewing there is a difference.
Importantly in the face of all that she did not lose her cool as some might have which was quite mature. I do not see economic opinion or politics as areas of mathematical precision .What is important is that people have a logical basis for their position. Equally there may be a logical position for an opposing perspective.
I therefore wonder from which alter you deign to pronounce that she was "wrong" by the way she never worked for the IMF but the World Bank, She admitted the need for those institutions to change and even proposed that they should cease to exist by 2033. She did say that African leaders need to show more assertiveness in rejecting policies that did not suit them

The programme is called head to head for a reason, people who participate in the programme don't go there for picnic. If you listened well you will notice she was fence sitting even when it came to criticizing the world bank. Like I said, she did well, but defending the world bank policies and free market economy despite its may ills remains wrong in book, she is free to hold unto her opinion so am I.

I watched the live interview yestday and that woman answered all the asked questions intelligently.

I am proud to say I m a Nigerian based on how she handled the interrogation(not interview at a point).

I ll vote for that woman against my Father anytime anyday.

What did she say exactly ? Are you able to provide a quote because I do not think we listened to the same interview with regard to the NA. I do not believe she "condemned" the NA that is inaccurate. I believe from what I saw that she initially tried to avoid the question but admitted under repeated questioning that there had been abuses .That was the extent of it. Now I believe that was the case and you do not we shall have to leave it at that with regards to the truth of abuses but she did not condemn and if anyone is condemning gratuitously you are. Clearly she is not a politician and showed naivety there in that she could have stonewalled the question which she did at first but to deny it outright to me is not credible. As you said it is easier to condemn which is EXACTLY what YOU have done

Honestly every Nigerian youth should watch this clip and watch how disgraceful our politicians can be.I don't blame her though,she was trying to cover up for her boss.Even the audience was having pity on her.Bros nobody holy pass.The corruption in Nigeria is institutionalized,true federalism will go a long way in curbing it,not stopping it though.A lot needs to be done but we have to start from somewhere.All in all I give her a pass mark in the other topics of discourse.She is well read and a very intelligent woman
