Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by patches689: 5:22am On May 03, 2015 |
agaugust: Hovering to land And Hovering in combat Are two different things. If the hind tries the maneuvers the rooivalk can do it will cut off its own tail with its rotors (the best part is that i am not joking - this is actually a thing) Hind a sh1t |

Henry120: No customer needs are based on: 1. What they can afford 2. What the seller is prepared to let them buy You know why no one uses top of the ramge Chally 2's or Abrams? Because the Uk and US dont sell them Same thing with the russians |

agaugust: And the NG is better. Sweden's threats have upgraded so they upgraded. Our threats are the same. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 5:58am On May 03, 2015 |
agaugust: In trying to carry people exes weight was added, might be why it struggles to hover. And how have the heat signal been lowers since then. By copping the rooivalk? So do all SAAF choppers and all attack choppers since say the 1990s. Did you bother to chech how much ammo is carried or are you pulling stuff out your ass again. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 6:00am On May 03, 2015 |
agaugust: The most advanced hind is the pn. Part of the upgrade is fixed landing gear. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 6:04am On May 03, 2015 |
agaugust: No IFV can survive a 20mm hit on the roof. So why the 30mm that as less rounds. The badger frontal arc can take a 30mm hit. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 6:08am On May 03, 2015 |
agaugust: I have pointed out many times how it is not the best and given links. You just say it is the best because you say it is. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 6:11am On May 03, 2015 |
agaugust: Does it matter. At least 2 countries thought it was a good upgrade to swap out the Russian guns for a SA built 20mm. |

Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by MikeCZAR: 8:32am On May 03, 2015 |
Henry120:His a SAAF pilot flying under the UN. Don't quote me or by now you know you'll get hiding. Denying? Remember that BH video which showed your soldiers running to the mountains? Fleeing combat? |

Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by patches689: 8:50am On May 03, 2015 |
Henry120: Is the Viper in service with the same branches of the US military? US Army uses the Apache US Marines use the Viper. Different branches have different needs and doctrines... for one, the American version of the Apache cannot operate off LHD's. |

Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by patches689: 8:52am On May 03, 2015 |
Henry120: It was rejected as the Rooivalk uses french sub components Turkey does not operate equipment that involves French equipment. So... either you dont know what you are talking about, or are telling lies... which is it? |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by patches689: 8:55am On May 03, 2015 |
agaugust: 1. That means it is less efficient at all 3 categories. Rooivalk is a dedicated attack helo, every gram of it is designed with one thing in mind. 2. How are they superior? 3. Which? How? Do you have them? 4. If 30mm is better why are the Russians moving towards 20mm? Is accuracy and more ammunition not better than large caliber rounds? 5. Is it newer? Is it better? 6. Is it smaller than the Rooivalks? 7. Does it? Stipulate these systems and their capabilities. Why are you so afraid of comparing specifications and capabilities? Is it that you dont know them or you are scared to post them? Show us how the hind is better... give us details. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by patches689: 8:56am On May 03, 2015 |
Henry120: How is it an excuse? Russians say they are getting rid of the hind... that is all that matters. |
