My hospital usually do scan at every ANC visit, but I went for a private scan at 23weeks to check my baby sex, the doc there showed me everything concerning my baby before telling me the sex, can I call that ANOMALY scan or should I go for the another one.

Thanks proudmum38 for the response. But no I have had previous scans, but then it showed I was only days farther along and one occasion about a week.

I never tot to ask until all these big baby deliveries and talks started around me. He measured twice, first was 32 weeks, second was 31 weeks 6 days.

He tried to downplay my concern tho. He said it's the size at 36 weeks that the baby will be born with.

Ok,there's nothin 2 worry abt just relax n enjoy ur bump..It is well!

God bless you cos you took the words right out of my finger, my hospital schedules a scan for between 12-15wks but most ppl don't know what they are asked to do or not even interested in asking.

On tuesday I was @ the ANC, while health talk was being delivered,obvious 1st timers were there making side talks and beckoning on the snacks lady every few seconds to bring them doughnut,meat pie and coke like that was their primary assignment that day.

Team mate, to be honest I have not bought one new thing. I bought clothings while I was ttc for 8years of various sizes n years and dats all I have got for now. I have plans of shopping next month. Lucky you at least u are half way done. God will help us all.

as u get farther along in preg, scan becomes more inaccurate with due date. which is y ur earlier scan might be more accurate than subsequent ones. In all, just be prepared

Eeyin yato si won jare, You won't leave your house for ANC like the two behind me to discuss Kim Kardashian and her mum's plastic surgery(I SWEAR)!!! .. I gave them the evil eye 2ce but it had zero effect.

What is your take about sterilizers, some are telling me to buy, while some said it isn't necessary. What do u think

U can do sis, make sure u tell them wat u r there for and ask questions. Once d sonologist explain to u, u don't hv to take it to d doc to explain. But make sure it's a gud place ooo. My love to lil proudy and male proudy

Solely depends on u... most tinz first timer mamas buy eventually don't get used or mite nt b used for long. Wats ur take on exclusive and bottle feeding. My bottles went to waste as they no gree use so sterilizer too nt used. Nt all babies take bottles... Pls decide

since the doctor showed you everything concerning your baby and considering the time you did the scan (23 weeks), there is no need to do another one

i was told that sterilizers are not needed since sterilizing tablets exist that you can just drop in cold water or any water and it does the job.

Thanks our able nurse kaffy..... Don't think I will be doing exclusive, I have to resume to work after MAT leave, but I will try as much as possible to pump and feed thru bottle , please is that AVENT feeding bottle ok.

Thanks ........That was wat my sis-in law said, she said I should get a fancy bowl with cover solely for that purpose instead of buying sterilizer, I think that is what I will do jare, too many expenses and I don't want to waste money buying what I will not.
