shndy: To further buttress your point against the use of steroids on our LOs. Anything you put on your baby's skin gets absorbed into their blood stream and steroid severely affects the hormones and immune system. No doctor will recommend it unless it is absolutely necessary and only for a couple of days. Lets seek natural remedies for skin infections and inflammations. Things like eela and alefo can be treated with natural black soap, shea butter, sweet almond oil and coconut oil which has anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties. When my son developed craddle's cap, olive oil was what cured it, I wash him head to toe with black soap and soak his hair with olive oil. Forget all those fancy schmancy Mustela and Burt's and Bee. I don't want too much chemicals on his delicate head( which caused it in the first place). I condition once week with egg yolk and olive oil. my 2 kobo 8 Likes |

Gr8fulHeart:Thanks mum, we went to gegele precisely mamtess shop, they dont have prince and princes but have boudchou which they comfirmed to me as the same as prince and princes(its the same company that is producing them). A marketer told me that they started producing boudchou before p&p but when they noticed p&p is high in demand they decided to stop the production so that boudchou can sell well too. Thanks, also got a car seat there. They have nice things. |

@all, I read the article and I say it is true,so true no added ingredients. A friend of mine put to bed in portharcouth recently she told me that when she was in labour with serious pain, she started vomiting and the nurses on duty started shouting at her, another said she was abandoned. So more can happen |

Mzora: Please please DON'T!!!!! What part of the country is that? The tongue is a very delicate and important organ. People die from even bleeding too much from a severe cut to the tongue. I have never heard of this before. It means there are millions of people that never undertook that procedure and speak eloquently well. Don't do that to your baby pls or whoever it is for |

lovinam: Yeaa.....Island Maternity is a large hospital in Lagos. Largest does not neccessarily mean private. The largest hospitals in Naija are actually govt hospitals. |

@all, some hospital workers can be really mean but I think salt and pepper was added to this story. Imagine one of the LARGEST hospital in lagos with just one bed to deliver while they labour on bench. Abi I no read am well? We were forced to labor on benches, as there was only one bed. One of the LARGEST In LAGOS & pregnant women LABOUR on BENCH with only ONE delivery bed don't go together. Or what does the writer mean by the word LARGEST? 1 Like |
