I am from the South/South and was born and bred in the West.

No Yoruba person has ever tried to Cheat/Con/Scam me all my life, but anytime I come across an Ibo Man they are always looking for ways to play a fast one on you.

One just tried to sale me a fake property here on Nairaland(more on that later)STAY CLEAR OF ANY IBO MAN ON NAIRALAND PROPERTY SECTION.

The OP got it wrong when he mentioned the Yoruba's only, as the rightful topic should have been WHY DO NIGERIAN'S DISTRUST THE IBO PEOPLE TOO MUCH? and the answer lies within the ibo's themselves. They should look inward and TRY to look and embrace the definition of HONESTY HONESTY HONESTY.

You cannot give a THIEF your money to keep for you and that is why an IBO MAN will never be the President of a ONE NIGERIA, they are criminals and that includes their preachers.

I will take sides with the Yoruba's and Hausa's any day against the IBO'S as I don't see myself associating with Ritualists, thieves, illiterates, petty traders and very dishonest bunch. The Reason the Ibo's lost the Civil war was that the South refused to side with them, as they had eyes for OUR OIL ALONE, just imagine all the Southern OIL controlled by one or two illiterates from Nnewi. That would have been painful.

I will bash the IBO RACE online, I will Bash the IBO RACE in person.

JUST ONE IS ALL I ASK OF, JUST SHOW ME ONE HONEST PERSON FROM THE EASTERN PART OF NIGERIA.

Is it not an insult that you cannot even find ONE honest person in a tribe?

Read through your entire past post, no where have anyone tried to scam you nor have you made a post on the property section. likewise, you speak yoruba and have insulted otueke, located in SS.
I can bet a billion dollars that you are NO DOUBT A COWARD, WORTHLESS, YORUBA.

You people are too much of a f2king coward online. I swear I've never met a more despicable, evil, tribalistic, backwards people like you worthless devils. I pray ISIS emerges from that your muslim community and do the world the favour and start getting rid of una one by one. I pray

[b]I sold human parts to churches and ritual killers – Joshua

By DONALD TUNDE

21/02/2015 will ever remain indelible in the heart of Oloko villagers as members of the palace guard to the community leader of Ajara Topa community in collaboration with a vigilante group operating in the area arrested a man who allegedly eats and sells human parts to ritualists, operating from a hole he dug under the Gbaji bridge along the Badagry-Seme border.

Joshua Akindele,56, who hails from Etokia Local Government in Ogun State was spotted by one Anthony Amos who watched him crawl into a hole under the Gbaji bridge, confessed that he had been into cannibalism and ritual killing for the past 15 years, after being introduced to the business by a friend who convinced him to stop driving popular motor cycle known as “Okada” which he claimed profited him a little, but could not sustain him.

He further said that he had been earlier sent to prison for 5 years after molesting a 17-year old girl.

Speaking with Crime Guard, Akindele confessed that he was the brain behind the incessant killing within the village using ply woods to hit his human prey, and dragging them into the holes before splitting their parts for food and business… with ritual buyers.

*Joshua caught with some human skeletons
In his statement “I have been in this business for the past 15 years after my friend advised me to stop riding okada and to join him in ritual killing and cannibalism”

When asked how he carried out his activities, he confessed “Whenever I see somebody walking alone without being conscious of who is watching, I walk slowing up to them and hit them with a big ply wood on their heads after which they fall unconscious, I then drag them into the hole and use a knife to cut them into parts which I sell to some churches and some ready buyers who indulge in ritual killing for easy money, and some times when I feel hungry late in the night, I eat some parts for food.

He confessed further that he sells the parts as follows: Heads 7,500, Bosom 1,500, peen 1000, hands and legs for 3,500.

Amos who is a member of a vigilante group in the area alerted other members of the group and palace guards of the Baale of Ajara Topa community to monitor the movements of Joshua.

He told Crime Guard that at about 1 a.m on 21/02/2015, he was on his normal routine watch when he noticed him (Joshua) crawling into the hole with a rice bag, he quickly alerted other members who confronted him with a gun and ordered him to drop and open what he was carrying. When he did, they discovered rotten human parts; skulls, legs, hands, Bosom s e.t.c.

Crime Guard visited the palace of the Baale of Ajara Topa community, Chief Samuel Amosu Owolabi, who after confirming the incident told Crime Guard that he was sleeping in his palace when an emergency call woke him with the caller informing him that a man had been arrested by members of his palace guards in collaboration with members of the vigilante group with human parts.

Chief Samuel said he quickly called Chief Patifo, Baale of Iyafin whom his community shared the bridge with to accompany him to the scene. When he got there, he noticed a mob had begun beating the suspect and only stopped after he begged them to let him live so that proper investigations will be carried out by the police.

Crime Guard confirmed the suspect was in the custody of the Badagry police division from a police source who pleaded anonymity.

You are not lazy, but your towns and villages are economically poor, depressed and unproductive for generations after generations of ibo people to thrive in and you must leave your economically poor, depressed and unproductive ibo states and migrate to where two rich men lording over the whole town including you the migrant and economic refugee to look for your daily bread...

The two rich men and their people built the robust economy and society, they are managing and administering the most vibrant state and economy that made it possible for you and generations before you migrate to their state for your daily bread and if they were lazy and poorly administrating like the ones back in your states, you and your people wont be heading to their state for your daily bread.

Sometimes I wonder why we are in the same country. At times I feel it is natural. Yes, it is natural to hold a prejudice(s) against a person / people but I think the only constant thing in life is change meaning we can change.

One thing I discover is that we still intermarry in spite of the caustic attack on each other's tribe. Such union can eternally head to the rocks if any of the couple is one of those who hold these prejudices. It might make forgiveness difficult in marriage.

Who knows perhaps the Zulu land king learned the discrimination / segregation art from us and found a good reason for the remarks that led to xenophobia.

Let's discuss why this is becoming an alarming trend and how we can change it.
Remember, we are in the season of change.

The psychologial trauma after the biafra war. Most Ibo parents still preach hate to their offsprings concerning yorubas, they cite actions of Awolowo and the yorubas during the war as the reason they lost the biafran war. And tribal hate indocrination from the cradle are the worst. More and more Yorubas are realising the deep seated resentment many Ibos have against yorubas, and gradually moving away from the typical liberal mindedness Yorubas are known for. Unfortunately for the ibos , the economic powerhouse of Nigeria lies in the South west, meaning they have to migrate to the same SW.

A million dollar question. Despite no obstacles, FG presence, and the out right thievery of SE wealth after biafra war and SS oil wealth, SW is still the most underdeveloped region in the entire Nigeria, excluding north. Apart from lagos, that entire region is a complete, utter, eye soar. To be honest, I laugh each time. I also laugh whenever they mention the billonaries from them. Out of all the list in the richest Nigerians (posted below), their number is relatively not as high as they claim it is and funny enough, if not for oil they stole from ND, none of their "billonaries" would exist unlike others. At least Aliko apart from getting the FG to surpress his competition, everything that man made was from hard work. I have nothing but respect for him because of that. While for yoruba, each and everyone of the "billionaire" have an oil plot stolen from SS.
