Bwahhahaahha grin grin

Poor research !

Nigerian navy torpedo armed Lynx anti-submarine helicopters have radar hidden inside the nose cone, and dipping sonar hidden inside the cabin....you know nothing about ASW dude grin grin

Once a submarine attacks, it's position is revealed. ASW helos will hunt it down
.
South Africa submarines have 20 000km cruise missiles and 100 continental ballastic missiles hidden inside and have a radar warning. grin grin grin

Can we bring facts!

That was the exact point of my argument with @MikeCAR, nuclear missiles, not nuclear fuel engine, so next time don't jump blindly into other people's argument unless you are intelligent enough to do so

You said nuclear submarines don't carry nuclear tipped missiles!

I brought to your attention the Trident system.

You quickly changed your position and requested if USS San Juan carried Trident missiles.

Quote where I said nuclear submarines don't carry nuclear missiles, quote my comment where I said that.

All I said was that having nuclear fuel engine does not mean having nuclear missiles. I have proved that with USS San Juan, American nuclear fuel submarine with NO SINGLE nuclear missile !

Nigeria has precision strike capability, your artillery was doing area suppression.

You don't have shells like bonus or excalibur.

Didn't the SANDF use MRLs in Bangui?

SANDF did not use MRLS in Bangui except you smoked rat poison mixed with marijuana tonight.

NA did area suppression and that is one purpose of artillery, we used it effectively and smashed Boko Haram without harming innocent civilians

SANDF has not used artillery in 20 years, Tanzanian army used their D-30 artillery to save your army in Congo DRC.

South Africa too has NO SINGLE guided artillery shell like bonus or excalibur

"total caliber firepower?" What is that?

Rushing to spinning before researching?

A 105mm howitzer is the biggest caliber of a weapon mounted on an aircraft.

Where are you getting that 309m? Your helicopter will crash cause of recoil grin grin grin grin grin I'd..iot.

T129:

Caliber: 20mm
Cartridge:20 x 102mm

Rooivalk:

Caliber: 20mm
Cartridge: 20 x 139mm.

The T129 carries 12 ATGM compared to the Rooivalk's 16.

Pods aren't modern the Rooivalk prototype carried pods in the 90s.

Superiority demonstrated!

Rooivalk 20mm x 1 barrel gun = 139 mm total calibre firepower

T-129 20mm x 3 barrel gun = 306 mm total calibre firepower

PROVED : T-129 gun has more firepower than Rooivalk gun

When a T-29 gun fires a round, it sends out 3 shells of 102 mm each, 102 mm x 3 = 306 mm shell metal quantity pierced into y.our body, y.ou will super bleed to instant death.

If a jet drops 3 bombs of 250 kg each, total ordnance on target is 250 kg x 3 = 750 kg.

Same happens from a 3 barrel gun of T-129, 102 mm x 3 will send 306 mm of hot shells in.to y.our b.leeding body....instant death

How many mobile radar does SANDF have? 2, or 3, or 5 maximum. Nothing to boast of.

Nigerian Type 90 AAA is a newly developed weapon dated around year 2000, a computerized twin cannon with electro-optical sights.

No, you post Rooivalk endurance now as you post it's weapons and payload, it's your helicopter, so you defend it !

T-129 has less air frame weight, more modern engine with fuel economy, 3 hours flight endurance for recce role plus combat.

Rooivalk does NOT fly 3 hours, old engine, heavy air frame

It was retired sometime between 2010and 2013, the USS San Juan visited SA in 2009, so yes it had Nuclear capability at that time.

Citation needed. America NEVER brought nuclear missiles to South Africa !

There are different types of Tomahawk, not all are nuclear missiles, many are just simple conventional anti-ship missile or cluster munition.

There have been several variants of the BGM-109 Tomahawk employing various types of warheads.

BGM-109A Tomahawk Land Attack Missile – Nuclear (TLAM-A) W80 thermonuclear weapon. Retired from service between 2010 and 2013
RGM/UGM-109B Tomahawk Anti Ship Missile (TASM) – active radar homing anti-ship missile variant; withdrawn from service in the 1990s.
BGM-109C Tomahawk Land Attack Missile – Conventional (TLAM-C) with a unitary warhead. This was initially a modified Bullpup warhead.
BGM-109D Tomahawk Land Attack Missile – Dispenser (TLAM-D) with cluster munitions.
RGM/UGM-109E Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM Block IV) – improved version of the TLAM-C.
BGM-109G Ground Launched Cruise Missile (GLCM) – with a W84 nuclear warhead; withdrawn from service in 1987.
AGM-109H/L Medium Range Air to Surface Missile (MRASM) – a shorter range, turbojet powered ASM with cluster munitions ;

Show us proof that America loaded nuclear missiles on that submarine and came to visit South Africa with nuclear weapons !

This is rich coming from a guy who thinks air is more dens at higher altitude.

Anyway heres more sources:
http://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/detail.asp?aircraft_id=1011
http://www.army-technology.com/projects/t129-attack-helicopter/
http://www.military-today.com/helicopters/t129.htm

Yes, on cold Himalayas mountain, air is denser at high altitude where the Bofors gun was located.

I know you are the guy who did not know that inside his own country DENEL was getting government cash support to save it from collapse grin

All your many sources on T-129 are incomplete, missing missile pods, or missing gun pods, or missing laser guided rocket pods.

My photo proves it all....I have posted that photo 10 times, that is example of the full range of armaments of the T-129
.

patches689:

1. T-129 only carries 500 rounds for its gun, the Rooivalk carries 700. More munitions = more firepower. In terms of guns, Rooivalk has 1.4X more firepower.

2. [Citation needed]

3. And so? Rooivalk carries better ATGM's. And the T-129 can only carry 12 of such weapons

4. Two gun pods that cannot be aimed, forceing it to perform gun runs like a hind.

5. So can the Rooivalk.

Your T-129 is a lightweight Recon helicopter. Rooivalk is a heavyweight tank hunter... lets compare stats:

Lets compare:

T-129 maximum payload of ATGM's: 8
Rooivalk maximum payload of ATGM's: 16

T129 maximum payload of rockets: 12
Rooivalk maximum payload of rockets: 76

T129 gun ammunition: 500
Rooivalk gun ammunition: 700

T129 maximum weapons payload: 1,200kg
Rooivalk maximum weapons payload: 2000kg

It is obvious who has more firepower.

Nope, the T-129 has more firepower with extra guns, extra missile pods, and laser guided extra precision rockets.

Try use your head next time, see my photo below....4 AAM per pod per pylon, 4 ATGM per rack per pylon.

4 X 4 = 16 air to air missiles

4 x 4 = 16 anti-tank missiles.

T-129 beats Rooivalk into coma

Listen r3tard, the air is colder at higher altitude due to the lower air pressure, it's common sense that air is less dens and colder at higher altitude, why do you think none of your fellow countrymen like @Henry120 never backed your argument that air is more dens at higher altitude?

Secondly you can post as many photos as you want, the fact is the Rooivalk has 6 hard points vs 4 for the T129, thus if denel wanted to they can fit 6x4 mokopa or 6x2 mistrals, and ALL sources prove that the T129 carries only 8 ATGM and 4 ATAM.

Are you blind, I already did, Lynx Mk.89 reported by SIPRI as anti-submarine warfare helicopter Nigerian navy.

Don't drag this matter with me because your SAN navy man @Andrewza tried it and ended up in embarrassment, because a Nigerian civilian was educating a South African navy man on the location of radar, sonar, and torpedo of Lynx helicopter.

Nigeria has anti-submarine capability in reserve, go tell that to the Augustine on Beegeagle who does nothing than to push Nigeria to buy every new weapon that he wants, as if he is minister for defense.

Air on snow covered mountain Himalayas is denser than at sea level, basic science of cold air is denser than warm air.

Even when five South Africans team up in a Gripen, he sh.oots them all down with a Roland, and wastes all their guided bombs including the latest DENEL Al-Tariq.
