Thank u imoge, I asked my doc to let me do d hsg but she said 'NO' that she doesn't suspect anything wrong wiv my tubes. But am having it done anyway as long as they don't need referral. I just order for a bicycle that will be my evening exercise routine, if I fall I will come back and post pics. Thank u mothers, u have been of immense help to me.

@Evacroft you don't need the TVS again, your result is very clear and u said u usually induce af, if I were you I will follow my recommendations asap cos with anovulatory cycle you can't predict when your next period will come cos usually your next period comes 14days after ovulation but when you don't ovulate you can't be sure of when it will show up, so you need to start taking the herbs asap so they can help balance your hormones and try to do hsg in your next cycle.

@helovesme, I wish you a safe delivery. Thanks for the info. Read the eggs meeting the waiting sperm results in a female child while sperm meeting eggs at their point of release results in a male child. I don't know how true this is, but I'm not interested in the sex sha.

I thank God for my delayed conception else I wouldn't have known what I know now, infact if I had a child I would have been diabetic today, during my first pregnancy they advised me to take malt and milk to help the baby develop fast, when my friend paid a visit she told me to stop immediately that she was taking glucose and locozade boost during her pregnancy and ended up with gestational diabetes, now she has developed type 1 diabetes....I used to have thirsty feelings, frequent urination, recurrent candidiasis, later on pcos joined but today they are all gone, I now have a regular cycle, I urinate just once in the night and our water last longer cos I can finish 1 cway water in 2days and moreover becos I have overcomed PCOS already I can never have gestational diabetes. I AM AN OVERCOMER!

. The tvs is better than normal one as it allows your sonographer to get clearer picture of what is in going on. The other one is not bad either but if you're okay with the price, please go for the tvs as it gives more in depth analysis for the purpose. My obstetrician went for the tvs with me as he couldn't get much with the abdominal scan.

Don't forget to also do a CD 21 blood test to check progesterone level. It should be >10 to confirm that ovulation occurred. Ultrasound is not enough to prove ovulation. Also use opk to check for LH surge. You ovulate within 24-36hrs of a surge so that you can time your ultrasounds appropriately. I am only scanned on my stomach for CD3 with full bladder. All other ultrasounds are via vajayjay

@julie1986, i will like to suggest that you do a TVS but let it be on CD13 morning, cos on CD13 they will be able to tell if you will ovulate the next day and it will save you some cost, i guess they suggest 3 scans if they suspect pcos so they can monitor the rate at which your follicles grow and to also know if the drug you were placed on is working or not...

@Evacroft, i use nature's way vitex, and fertilitea and add any other supplement that contains vitex like fertility blend, fertility aid or Femtrol etc so i can get folic acid and other vitamins from them of which pregnacare conception can even suffice for them, why you should add ovaboost is for you to produce quality egg and it was specifically designed for women with pcos since their follicles doesnt produce egg, i bought NOW Maca becos it was 250 capsules for $11, i also added m2tone, basically i use drugs that is designed for ovarian health.....vitex is sold for 2k at any pharmacy and could be taken all through the cycle.

My gynae placed me on clomid 100mg dis cycle. Pls what can I take with d clomid to optimize my chances?

Where are you doing the scan? was it doctor recommendation? The price is outrageous. In hospital I use down east, they do TVS at 2500 and if any need to confirm on abdominal scan, they do on their own. Are you sure that 5k is not for the whole cycle? in which case, it can be once or upto 3times for them to get what they need. I'll suggest you check anyother lab or a good hospital that do same. Lagos/Abuja mamas na so una dey pay? Also, you need to know how long your cycle is so as to know when to start your scan. @mompurity2 nothing much to add apart from your folic acid and vic C. You may also take grape fruit juice for more EWCM as clomid is known to make you feel dry. Preseed lubricant is also effective to aid the swimmers. Hope he'll track to see your progress, very important.

Good morning lovelies in d house. in January I had adhesiolysis to remove adhesion from my uterus n was advised not to ttc for 3months. After d 3months we tried last month n nothing. My gynae advised that my hubby should do sfa/mcs which d result came out n we broke down again. total count is 8 million. active motile 10% sluggish motile 25% dead 65% morphology normal 70% abnormal 30%. culture yielded heavy growth of Staphylococcus aureus. Please help a sister. what can we do to improve our situation? Has anyone else passed through this before?

I don't know so much about medicine and stuffs like that But What I do know is that if you dH's blood group is O+ and your is A-. there is this injection you are supposed to take after delivery without the injection if the offspring inherited your dh's blood group,due to the blood mixed during delivery, it will attack the next fetus in the womb causing miscarriage or nit being able to conceive the second time.I don't know if you are supposed to take the injection after miscarriage though. my brothere's wife took the injection immediately after giving birth to her first child because of the different blood group ,now they have four children. i.Am sure there are other mama's here who know more about it. baby dust to all

My blood group is O- and i rmbr that when i was pregnant with my son, the Dr in Naija said i will need to be given an injection 48hrs before delivery (was wondering how they wud knw though) but i eventually travelled out to give birth. I dont know at what point they gave me the injection ( weda it was 24hrs or 48hrs b4 delivery). But bottom line is evry female with a negative in her blood group needs that injection.

At what stage of your prego did you take the injection? Cos it is supposed to be just before delivery
