Pre study internship is done after admission but submitted upon enrollment. One of the schools (Uni Ingolstadt) they require it 4 weeks before the start of studies and they specifically stated that its to be done in a specified area of specialization. I also emailed the school they said even though i have an HND in the course i will still need to do it. And its to be done in Germany or home country...this whole internship requirement ish is a serious headache to me. Seen some good and interesting courses but this same pre study internship / trainee contract with a company is acting like a stumbling block to applying.
Please did any one scale through this hurdle?

i think every university handles it differently
at my university someone can just apply for a respite of the intership

and i know a lot of students who got their intership certificate signed without doing the intership you just need to find the right company

Was at the consulate on Monday, 20th April to certify my docs (append signatures) and submit my application. It's been 3weeks now and no word yet from Deutshe bank. Gracias

Check your spam mail..... Most of their mails go straight to the spam mail...... If not in the spam mail then you might need to contact them asap.

I applied for opening the acct on 13th of April and I got a mail from them on the 1st of May confirming that the acct has been opened.

I advise that you wait for complete 4 weeks as the embassy have said that the process takes up to 4 weeks. Do not mail them yet..they are definitely attending to your application.

there is no health insurance you get here in nigeria that will work for you in germany so plz do not waste your money buying health insurance until u land in germo gidigba. in the section u are refering to, just write 'will get an insurance upon arrival in Germany' period!! the embassy is aware of that fact that u can not live in germany without an health insurance so no having one now is not an excuse not to give u ur visa so far u perform well during ur interview. shikena

Reply the same mail that sent you the appointment explaining your situation. They will either give you an earlier or later appointment date depending on availability because I truly doubt you will meet up with the exam that same day. from experience.....

I cant re-schedule. U can only reschedule 1week to the interview date. I don ask. I go make am. My exam is in unilag. VI unilag no pass 1hr. Even if i finish d interview 11(which i sincerely doubt)i go still make am. I dey resume sept 21. Although i want to join d german intensive prog starting sept 8.

Guys I need your advice, University of Bonn sent a mail to me to inform me that my application for masters in environmental risk and human security is successful and meet all the criteria but due to the fact that the quota is filled up that I am on the waiting list till August, but one week after my application they sent a mail to me that I should send my Ielts or TOEFL result to them or my application will not be processed, that they don't accept English as language of university study, I decided to ignore them because I don't have time to go and register for the TOEFL exam, I never thought that they will process my application, Germans are good ooo ,they really want people to come and study in their country. Is possible for me to write this TOEFL or ielts and result comes out before August, how can I go about this, where will I register for it and how much, my not having this TOEFL or ielts have cost me university of Duisburg Essen admission and on their website they said that if your previous study was in English that the person can apply but last week they sent a mail to me that the rule has changed, that I should send my TOEFL or ielts result so that they will grant the admission , the deadlines giving to me has passed now, I wonder why they cannot accept English speaking countries weac certificate or other exams although some universities i apply to accept it.

AT LEAST one week! read again!...The earlier the better. You only have trouble when you neither keep up with the appointment that day or didn't reschedule so that another person can be fixed into the opening you left. You may be lucky but to think you will be through by 11 that I doubt too. Though I was the first person that day in the student section, I didn't leave until way after 12 or 1. They don't attend to you immediately!
You can take your chances though if your faith say so......

Hello everyone, I'm very grateful for this kind of thread, it helped me a lot during my application. The good news is that I got a notification of admission for Masters at a German university in Hanover. The MSc programme is entirely English taught. I did not have to submit any German proficiency certificate. The question I want to ask is that.. during my student visa application would I be asked to submit a German proficiency certificate to enter Germany? It is very important I know now. Thanks

I'v been narrowing down courses and schools, my question please is if applications are directed straight to the school or if there's a general portal for that. I didnt see any indication for that on the websites especially Rhein-Waal. Please i'll appreciate if someone throws little light on this biko. 35k no be beans o...me sef i for no take am, na my school wey i apply for lang of instruction since december, wey no gree gimme till now plus one schlarship wey i apply for wey need am na im make me write am.

Rayhut abeg try find the money take IELTS. go their website, if u can pay online its 35k if u can't then use bankdraft to pay, its 38k. and be fast about booking ur space before u no go get space again and ur deadline go pass.
