Happymum: My hosp burst my bubble... They do not accept card payment. Only cash, cheque or money order. Find out if your hosp accepts POS payments before you leave. And God bless the poster who mentioned how to purchase money order, you have just saved me. 1 Like |

slimmy05:the last tym I wanted to buy money order from Walmart using my Fcmb debit Mastercard, dey told me they accept only credit card. I had to use cash to buy the money order. What type of card did U use to purchase the money order. Any body with experience shud answer. |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by Nobody: 9:36pm On May 19, 2015 |
ozycy:Its either you didn't hear her clearly or the information wasn't passed correctly, you can swipe your debit card for money order, I use my GTbank card always here as most of my funds comes from Nigeria. If I want to pay rent, I go to Kroger or walmart and swipe for money order. Try another western union stand not agents. Or when you go to walmart or kroger, you can use the cash back service when checking out (the limit is $40). If you buy your groceries checkout by item and do cash back repeatedly, I don't know the limit 2 Likes |

nefertitiram:plus the baby can never become the president of USA. Obama was African but was born in Hawaii. If he was born in Kenya and emigrate through visa lottery or other means, he could never be a president. That's the rule. 6 Likes |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by Amother4life: 3:26am On May 20, 2015 |
zeezahbee:There are two general ways to obtain citizenship through U.S. citizen parents, one at birth and one after birth but before the age of 18. Obama could still have run for office because his mother was a United States citizen. So, he had no business using the lottery or any other type of shenanigans to move to the United States. That's why you have the CRBA process at every American embassy. There is a man currently running for the office of President by name Ted Cruz. Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada to an American mother just like President Obama. Details : http://www.uscis.gov/us-citizenship/citizenship-through-parents http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2015/mar/26/ted-cruz-born-canada-eligible-run-president-update/ 4 Likes |

zeezahbee: Actually, one US parent can make one a citizen automatically. John McCain was born on foreign soil. The US embassy in Nigeria has a page for children of citizens born abroad, their parents are to declare their birth and request their passport. |

Amother4life:Ma'am don't u get what am talking about. I said you can not be a president if u are not born in the USA . Regardless watever way u become as citizen, as long as u weren't born in the soil, u can only become a governor or mayor . Finally, one must live in the United States for at least 14 years to be president, in addition to being a natural-born citizen.Seems that's better understood. Thanks The constitution after the adoption of the constitution Article II, Section 1: No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States. 2 Likes |

Onegai:Omg, did u read the post I replied to I was talking about the fact if the lady gives birth to her baby in Nigeria, the disadvantage is that the baby will be a citizen of USA but can't be a president because he/she wasn't born in America soil. zeezahbee: lol. I'm the original poster in question, the first person replied me with good humour. But thank you for attempting to school me. ;D0 Abeg let me not derail, is there anyone who has the same situation as mine. My hospital here didn't accept the medical records from Nigeria, so I'm redoing everything (blood, urine etc). Do they do that to everyone (because even another hospital intimated that my records weren't complete when I submitted them). Perhaps someone can please share a complete breakdown of what to ask from foreign hospitals. Thanks. 2 Likes |

Onegai: Mine won't take anything that is not from their own lab. Here are the tests: Sickle cell test Basic metabolic profile Urine culture Perinatal ABO/Rh antibodies screening CBC with differential Hepatitis B with surface antigen Rubella antibody immune status HIV 1/2 Antibody screen Syphilis screen by EIA That's all they did. The blood they drew eh, I had to exclaim "do you want to finish all the blood in my body "and got an epic response. "You are pregnant, you are creating more blood than usual" 3 Likes |
