Don't be, people may be funny at times. Ugochux:Mehn, It's really so much fun oo.....I was a bit calmed with this joke as I laughed my ass off and the tension reduced. modskiller: This thing about getting study leave needs some explanation. How can a company give u a study leave when you don't even have the study permit yet? A company gives study leave when you are ready to commence the leave. I think the right thing should be a letter of introduction from your company stating that you intend to go for your study... 2 Likes |

Crich: u need notify ur company ahead if u wanna undertake study leave so they can fill up the absence. however it stated in the letter that you should give prior notice if there is to be any change in ur training/study. |

kennykentipsy: Na wa o! What letter? What if your company isn't that type who is willing to let u go on a study leave so early? The only company who would do that, is one owned by a friend or family. What if this is the kind of company one works in, and ofcourse are willing to give u the study leave? |

richcasey: What if the family is owned by a parent or a sibling, and you have been offered a higher position(probably, a managerial position) on completion of your Masters degree? I know someone who was in this position, and after his study, he came back home to take over from his dad. Infact, this happens. One thing I see here, is that these VOs have been given full authority and so they seem to be feeling soooo in charge. And D reputation of our country and the people's credibility have been dented that's the reason the VOs can't just believe what ordinarily should be reasonable and could be true. God helps those of us at the receiving end. |

Ivylane: For Nigerians, right? I noticed this in March while waiting for my acceptance letter from school. It's no news. That's why I'm surprised some people still get response between 1 - 3 months. I just pray they don't work with that. That's one full year. Which crime Nigerians commit na? |

standupguy: Please don't be, don't let that stop you from attaining you goal. Always thank God for the gift of life, always thank God that you're a step ahead. Always thank God that he has already answered your prayers and remember that you're better than some people out there. Give this another shot or better still if you're financially buoyant give Aussie a shot, but that will be if you'd like to come back and build a career in naija. But all in all, it's not over until we win. 1 Like |

Team12:True! The last time I checked it was 31 weeks, Now 51 Weeks? They are really crazy, So they don't want someone to move forward because some people here submitted through paper route and I am very sure there passport is with them. That means if one decide's to visit another country in the course of there processing, then that person is stuck on Canada! Bullshit. I don't blame them, It's our stupid government that I blame, If our country was better, This wouldn't be the case. Imagine ghana that is our neighbor the processing time is 8 weeks. Look at the margin. That shows that Nigeria is going backwards! LOL 1 Like |
