I hope this is the right section for posting this. Supposing you are divorced and have a young employee who is a hard worker and strives to please, But you find that she seems to be getting too affectionate towards you. This girl is in her late 20s and nearly 30 years your junior. You don't want to get involved with her - she has nothing that you may want except possibly sex , and the last thing you want is another child . She is a fantastic worker otherwise . Best advice: Mind your business. If you do, she will know you are uninterested and move on. Unless you show interest, she is not a problem. You don't even need an advice on this. NB: please don't fire her its not a crime to show affection. At the extreme just call her and talk to her. Tell her you appreciate her affections but its just inappropriate for you to date her. You can tell her you don't even plan to date or remarry again, you are just focused on bringing up your kids. You can't be 100% sure that she has crush on you Until she tells you herself because she may just be friendly type, but you concluded and gave us 100% assurance. Anyway, since it never came out of her in any form (written, recorded, or physical). Just pretend as if you don't know What's going on. She may later be desperate and tries to act funny or tell you due to her fragile emotion, since you say you don't want such to happen, you are good to fire her. Are you sure you aren't misreading her intentions? Since you mentioned that she strives to please, are you sure you aren't taking her efforts to please you as something else. I would advice that you ignore whatever u think she is doing and keep a strict professional distance from her. If she sees that you are ignoring her she will either desist or be forced to make a blatant come-get-me move at which you will be able to address it squarely. if you attempt to address it now and she denies having any intention of that sort, it will only make things very awkward between u and u will also end up looking like a perv for having such thoughts. 5 Likes |

Hmm! First thing first, if you have been very friendly and playful with her, stop it at once. You are the boss. Second thing, the reason she is probably flirting/crushing is cos u she feels u are available; u need to change that. Get a lady to come check on you at work a couple of times, and find a way to make it seem like u have something intimate going with that lady.
