Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by olabode89(m): 10:18pm On May 23, 2015 |
Growingboi: Oga u need read this thread very well. Aalto is not a member of UEF. Aalto is a top engineering and tech school in Finland, it is d biggest infact. LUT is a very good engineering and tech sch in Finland too but Aalto is number 1 in engineering in Finland and it is super competitive. Aalto is located in Espoo close to Helsinki metropoly so it should offer more job opportunities with a population of around 300 thousand peeps. Lappenranta on d other end has a population of around 80 thousand...i hv no idea about job opportunities. I will advise u apply to both schools and also TUT. TUT is d best alternative to Aalto in enginnering n tech courses. These are my observations about both schs they might not b 100% correct. |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by olabode89(m): 10:22pm On May 23, 2015 |
ooluseyipa:I don't understand u oo May because i used my office scanner and d default output is in pdf. u can change d setting of d scanner. U can svan ur bsc certificate n waec as one and call it prior/previous education certificates. anoda example is that i scanned a letter from my lawyer and some land docs as one. I also scanned my employment and promotion letter as one. Note that each appendix should hv a max size of 2MB |

olabode89:I have ask this question before and want to repeat it again, because I want to get more clear information. Pls can somebody apply to 5 universities in Finland, with three different courses?, I want to know whether one can use one application form, one transcript and indicate different universities with three different courses when applying, since they uses one central admission body been university admission of Finland (UAF), or should one apply by sending 5 different application forms, with 5 transcript?, (I have double honor awarded degree in the field of library and information science/ political science, so I can go for library and information science, information science/ computer science, also political science, and want to use the three to apply) I really need an answer to this my questions, pls assist me. (anybody with experience can also assist me). |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by olabode89(m): 11:37am On May 24, 2015 |
Chibuking81: From my knowledge and research on Finnish school admissions, if you are applying to 5 schools you will need 5 sets of all documents. Although if you are applying through UAF you will need 5 sets of all documents but you only need to send your test of English language once to UAF. Even if you are applying to same school but 5 different courses you still need to send 5 different application packages with 5 sets of documents. 1 Like |

olabode89:can somebody apply direct to the various universities in Finland without going through university admission of Finland (UAF)? |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by sirkezman: 12:27pm On May 24, 2015 |
why do you want to apply directly to the universities? Chibuking81: |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Chibuking81(m): 1:31pm On May 24, 2015 |
sirkezman:I want to know because, if one can apply direct without application charge, and university admission of Finland (UAF) introduces application fee this year, then I have no option than to apply directly to the various universities of my choice, if application fees will not be charge by the various universities.. |

Chibuking81: You can apply directly to TUT and Aalto University. |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by sirkezman: 8:38pm On May 24, 2015 |
kindly send the link you got this information from... because it is not on the UAF website yet.. and even at that, most universities go through UAF but there are few that you can apply to directly Chibuking81: |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by sirkezman: 9:48pm On May 24, 2015 |
hmm.. i assume you are using the one with 750k. so to get 1m into that account, if you have a sponsor, u can use him or her. if you dont, you can deposit 200k three times this week in the name of your family members and some 50k each on some friends name. and u complete the process next week.. you shd be fine that way sureb0y: |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by iceberg54: 9:53pm On May 24, 2015 |
sirkezman: Oga sirkezman, Aalto doesn't use UAF and i think TUT too. Those UAF guys are useless in.my opinion. |

Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by olabode89(m): 11:48pm On May 24, 2015 |
