Refining oil is not a rocket science or a technological break-through. Nigeria is just corrupt and lazy, I see no reason importing all at this age and time of enlightenment. 8 Likes |

I don't blame some of my brothers who might somehow be too proud here because the trend itself is tribalistic...why not ask "why is there NO fuel scarcity in some part of Nigeria" For those shouting chest beater there is only one quote for You "it takes a chest beater to know a chest beater"... ie you are also a chest beater ()QED() 5 Likes |

InyinyaAgbaOku: It takes a lot to refine petrol. I doubt if there is any illegal refinery that can refine petrol. Most of them only refine diesels. Petrol is also available in most Northern states. Could it be due to illegal "imaginery" refineries in the north? |

arewafederation:Am not in support of crude oil theft or illegal refineries... what he said is true in some places especially the creeks but i don't think it is the cause of non scarcity of fuel... |

Apart from Lagos and Abuja, is there fuel scarcity in other parts? why make it look like its only the Se that is immune to the scarcity? shallow minded post. when you have nothing tangible to brag about, you pick on pettiness. pathetic. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Scholes007: I know there are illegal refineries in the creeks. I have seen one. I don't think they have the capacity to refine PETROL. |

There's no fuel scarcity in the SE but the price of a litre of fuel in the SE is the same as what is sold in lagos. The price of a litre of fuel in the SE has increased suddenly from 87naira to 120/140naira 2 Likes |
