I used my phone for the two sections this morning. Using phone for sec A wasn't bad but my experience with section B isn't funny at all cos for strange reasons i had difficulties is selecting answers anr wasted the 12 mins without doing the section satisfactorily. My advice, you can go ahead with section A on your phone with browsers like google chrome but when yoi wanna do section B, never use a phone.

Anyway, am glad the B was suspended cos am having a second chance grin
thanks man..so happy for u cheesy

David, locking down dis thread is not the best solution. We agreed dat posting life question is wrong but let look at other benefits gained from this forum on test day.
It was on the test day dat I discovered that the test was in pli format and I also got a link to read up.
I also got the info about the time given, difficulty of the test nd wat to expect in section A on the test day.
And let not forget dat some pple encountered some problems before accessing d test nd solution was provided here.
If u wanna go ahead in locking down d thread, I strongly believe that pwc 2015 should also b locked down. Recently, a lady posted interview questions and everyone raised an eye brow that d lady had to delete d post and deactivate her handle but d thread is still on.
So pls, find other means to solve this issue
There are many roads dat lead to the mkt.

Lol david is a sensible guy. He's not locking down the thread. These tests are even a barrier to entry. Why can't we all help each cross the test stage and then we battle it oout at interviews where we can show what we are really made of. That's how I see things

Naa bro I've never failed a test before. That's not what I'm saying. I had to cringe when I saw ur write up. I'm not that guy I don't have a selfish bone in my body. What I'm saying is even if u get help at dis stage, if ur dull u can never make it in. Can u honestly tell me that Airtel as a coy has conducted it's business in nigeria at the highest ethical standards and in conformity with environmental sustainability? We all know how Indians do in dis country.

I have taken a keen interest in this thread. I also had to 'cringe' when I read this comment of yours.

This quote of yours is a pointer to what can disqualify you by any company. You do not have any idea of how much companies lose to 'compromising' standards. Goodkidd, I have been on this forum for a looooong time; do not get it twisted; if any employer is able to track a candidate talking about 'selflessness' when it comes to standards, they will blacklist you.

Forget it when you tend to believe that it's a 'playground' here in Nigeria. Think everyone is 'bad' but when they want to use 'bad' against you, you'll be stunned. Coys may not ordinarily want to follow standards etc but when regulators slap them and competitors use it against them, then you'll realize that in business, you play your cards fairly. I don't need to go far to obodo oyinbo; you saw the way CDl crashed back then and recently, BGL. All it takes is a petition, reaction or action to hit you. Even in companies, all it takes is for someone to use the policy against you; the auditors/investigators come in, they make their findings, you're indicted and given the boot.

My advice - you do not need to justify cheating on the basis of 'selflessness' or 'helping others', what is wrong is wrong, what is right is right.

For Posterity and Integrity sake, this thread would be temporarily locked on Tuesday Evening till the end of the test.

Future Apologies for any inconvenience to all parties.

It's not your call. It's a forum for christ sake. It's not your problem that Airtel can't conduct an assessment. Don't do their job for them. PwC use SHL and setup a verification test at their office. Airtel can afford that. Think before you exert your power. You are not here to police anybody.

‎U have spoken well but allow me to open ur mind abit. There's this one thing that's not comfy with me, that's selective morality. Selective morality is when u kick against collaboration when u are strong, but embrace it when u are weak. Selective morality is when u kick against lleaking of answers(which I'm not in support of) when u have done urs but don't seem to mind when u have not done urs. If I take a poll, it would be interesting to see that everyone soul here who called that guy out for divulging info, had already done theirs. If I take it a step further, and go through their previous posts, u would see questions like 'hw was ur interview. What kinda stuff came out' being asked by them. It disgusts me. What's the use of a job forum like this, gaining information that would put u at competitive advantage I guess. I don't care what u say to urself to sleep better at night but soliciting for interview questions, to sharing test formats, to leaking test questions, to asking for the venue of a test to in order to gatecrash are all one big happy family. Just don't assume a different moral posture each time u do any of these things. Me, I don't have that problem.‎

Airtel/indians wan do ijebu. Rather than outsource the recruitment to firms who specialise in it such as dragnet, workforce, AETI and Co, they decided to handle it themselves.

They must think companies who spend hundreds of thousands of naira outsourcing their recruitment are foolish. Like I did say and will reiterate, Airtel only have themselves to blame.

My recommendations for them since their Hr obviously goes through the thread:

1. Give everyone his/her own unique log in code.

2. Ensure that the log in code can only be used once.

3. The test page should not load when wrong email addresses are typed.

4. Use a physical test centre

5. Change the format of the test. As far as I'm concerned, those PLI tests are not a true test of knowledge. Someone might do 27 questions and get 23 correctly thereby having 46%, another can do 48 questions and get 30 correctly thereby scoring 60%.

GMAT, GRE and SHL type of questions are much better with their relatively moderate time.

And as for davide470, cutting off the head is not the solution to headache. Locking the thread is a wrong thing to do.

So just because u don't like PLI format, it is seen not to be a true test of knowledge. All test formats have what they measure, for airtel to use the format, they have their reasons.

That is what you are saying in essence, it is just like the numerical part of shell recruitment day, there is no enough time, nobody likes the test at all, but you can't say it is not a true test of knowledge. Tests measure speed and accuracy, if airtel decides to use any format, they know best. Bt what I believe if it work out, it will surely work out.

You tried to suggest other test format to the recruiters. Yours is to write whatever they give you! PLI's are the standard for a company in their category.
They need "Quick, Versatile, Out of the box thinking workers" not RATIONAL MINDS (sorry about your moniker).

I still don't understand how I implied I don't like the test neither do I understand where you got it from. Let's ignore that.

Using your own words, you said tests measure speed and accuracy. I put it to you that PLI tests doesn't measure accuracy. One who scores 23 out out of 27 is much more accurate than one who scores 30 out of 48. In order for PLI tests to measure accuracy, it has to be graded this way: 23/27*100= 85%, 30/48*100=62.5% and not the way airtel graded it by simply multiplying by two.

Tests should not just measure speed, it also needs to measure precision/accuracy. I stand by my opinion that, PLI tests, with regards to the way airtel graded it, is not a true test of knowledge.

Airtel did not multiply by 2. How do you explain all the odd scores?

"RANDOMLY" distrubuted (see the irony?) 49 questions are generated per candidate from a total question pool of say 200 questions.

Dazall! PLI's are SIMPLY complex (see the irony again?)

stop being rational! (see another irony again AGAIN?)

I understand your point, but at the same time, you can't conclude that someone that answer 9 correctly out of 10 (9/10×100 = 90%) is more accurate than someone that answer 42 correctly out of 50 (42/50×100=84%) under the same time.
However, it is clearly stated on PLI website that the test should not be the only criteria for giving someone employment.
