This act is unacceptable and I believe the culprits will be brought to book. We face a new era of good things to come and actions like this are strongly condemned.

Do you know that if you are knocked unconscious, you won't remember what happened minutes before?

That is why those who are unconscious after car crashes have only a smoggy recollection of events or non at all. Its probably a way the brain is preventing us from reliving the trauma.

The journalist probably does not remember the beating

Losers and cooked up stories. Like it or not, Buhari is the president. U all can keep talking rubbish or publishing rubbish to make sales. Even nairaland is not left out as all forms of fake news, hate news, unprofessional news hit the front page. Nonsense.

Well, the basic problem is Nigerians have a poor idea of what freedom of speech is.

Most Nigerians prefer to practice freedom of speech....only if nice things are said about their tribe or their political or religious leader.

Me, I agree that Buhari should fund and train the police better to enforce people's rights....and to jail miscreants who beat up and injure people....but Nigerians too need to change.

Since they were not official security agents, what were the police and army doing that allowed those callous Mallams to do such nasty thing.

Though this info remains one-sided story for now, no justification for attempted murder.

Anyway, I hope gvt will fish them out and deal with them accordingly

Like said above, it's too early to start criticism on this new govt. Let's pray for God's guidance on them.

I expected this and even more. They know they came in through media propaganda and that they will be exposed and judged through the media so they will naturally instill fear into the media to prevent revealing the truth to the populace. 1st it was Ait now it is this and the list will keep going on. What a CHANGE!
