now you are talking about individuals here. am sure my state akwaibom may not have such individuals but i know that anambra has too many billionnaires. someone like emeka offor can singlehandedly build 50 storey highrise. i think i have seen the wonders he built somewhere in ihiala area.

Forget about that Emeka Offor of a guy, you people always think Anambra billionaires are useful to the state, the guy singlehandedly destroy our state from 2001-2003, the only investment he has in Anambra is his Radio station in his village, one poorly built 4 storey building in New Market Road Onitsha were Tech start up guys sell their wares.
He owns EEDC but we are not enjoying the best of power but he will be spending billions to eradicate polio in North while the North spend billions to eradicate Igbos in the face of the Earth.

Pls forget any Anambra billionaire that is not from Nnewi, they are just turncoats.

This is a typical dual carriageway. Three lane on each section, a standard walk way by it and enough distance between walk way, gutters and houses nearby.

Until Anambra achieves this, His dual carriageway will always look like a lane to me.
Chino take note. And pls visit other state capitals before showing your ignorance everywhere. Wisdom is golden.
This shitty road is the only dual carriage in awka, its called zik avenue. That place is a disgrace to the name zik, be sure to get more picture from here.

That road is barely 2km long.

i was on a transit recently to Okpanam in Asaba, and I saw that well structured pedestrian bridge at Uga. but it was quite bad that we have defaced the architectural design of that edifice by putting up those roof like another 2by2 shops...now i saw people trading on it...why don't they borrow a leaf from that same type of pedestrian bridge at Aba road opposite NDDC HQ PH. that one looks more like a train tunnel. is a matter of proper planning. roll that Uga bridge with that arch aluminum stuff. don't know it real name neither. "When Freeglobe, Nedu09 or IGBOSON complains they would say bring there heads" please you guys should accept simple constructive criticism and do pursue for it and not all this market women attack. that's my candid contribution.

question is why doesn't lspdc build skyscrapers? As rich as they are and as demanding skyscrapers are in Lagos they dont build it...that tells you something...the maintenance is the koko..for eg who maintains the elevator of the skyscrapers?govt?abeg oooo..maintaining common estates is a problem let alone skyscrapers...we all know our mindsets concerning govt institution ,outfits and building in these parts.

Because corporations build skyscrapers in Lagos but Lagos need more housing projects that office spaces. Its not always about the cost, what does it cost maintain an elevator when you can easily recoup that from the investment.

If I want to invest in Lagos now I will go into real estate market but if you invest in real estate in Anambra it won't be hot cake because Anambra residents build houses like mad but they don't build office spaces.

this is the one built by total also in lagos. we need to push for these things to moved to at least if not akwaibom let them come to even bayelsa. one of the reasons i still blame gej for his inactions.

lol..but generally we all know that rich igbo men favour their communities first before any other thing...chinua achebe also wrote about this in that chapter of ' Igbo problem' in the book problem with Nigeria where he said the average Igbo man has no other loyalty above the community he comes from...it might not necessarily be a bad thing depending on the situation (nnewi eg)..the widow's angle is hilarious though

Its better Niger Deltans fight the war this time around, Igbos and Akwa Iboms tried to do the same but were sabotaged, its better Ijaws and Ikwerres lead the movement for the relocation of head offices of oil companies to Niger Delta.

If I should fight such war it must be relocation of oil companies to Owerri, Aba and Onitsha because they are all also Niger Deltans as well.

Let ND youths start the agitation because if Igbos start now NDans will chicken out and Igbos will be the scape goat.

Let's the movement begin now, we are behind you.

this is an exemplary view of an organised society. with well paved pedestrians sidewalk. no open drainage and dunes on the road, nice serenity with trees along the roads but come Onitsha or Awka people cut down trees and grasses just to expand there for Shops. we should borrow leaf from this and others should follow suite. for those that've not crossed over Niger bridge or away from there immediate village should look beyond this mediocre. that place is PH. pic: Spyderkenn.

Do you think Nigeri problem is solved through blowing of grammar, how many Hausas do you see in NL or standing in newspaper stands.

How many hausas are human right lawyers, do you think Ijaws would have gotten the presidency if not for militancy, do you think Jonathan will be defeated without Boko Haram, Nigeria problem is not about big big grammar, Akpabio threatened them to relocate yet they are there in Lagos.

The day they will relocate is the day about 6 of their staffers are beheaded the ISIS style you will see them close those Lagos offices and relocate.

If your not violently disposed in Nigeria na only crumb you go dey chop, Gani don talk soteeey blood dry kpataa kpataa for him body the guy die.

Asari should have started by siting his investments in Niger Delta now. Forget Uwazuruike and his MASSOBians they are con artist, am Pro Biafra but Uwazuruike won't lead me neither will Nnamdi Kalu do that.

Biafra should start by present Igbo leaders to start building sustainable projects while gradual relocation of businesses and investments follow suit.
Forget Nnamdi Kanu he is overbearing and grandstanding is why I don't listen to Radio Biafra, he should tone it down, Biafra is not about hate mongering, we are not hatefilled but conscious people, we won't succeed through hating everybody but we won't embrace everybody as well.

chaa! bro, you're in spirit this morning. you've just repeated what I've said previously on this thread about that filth and illegal structures at fegge Mini-stadium fence. I will always stand for truth and healthy environs. I careless whose ox gets gored. the management of that stadium allocated those shanties to Keke and okada Mechanics, firewood sellers and insane people... go and see for yourself.. destitute and mad people have invaded that stadium fence with dirt.. as slum as a dumping site.

Admitted that some part of Anambra leaves less to desire but the state is a work in progress. Just recently,Obiano just relieved the commissioner of environment of his duties and this might not be unconnected with various complaints of filth and littering in some areas of the state. We expect too much from the government yet we forget that just few years ago Omanbala was a failed state. Anambra is relatively a new state with meagre resources and these development stuff doesn't happen overnight, more so when you have three major towns to look after and other emerging towns like Otuocha,Ekwulobia and Idenmili towns begging for infrastructure. We must exercise some patience maka ife ayi bu erika.

Let Igbos start relocating back to East and see how Nigeria will crumble,we don't need to fire any single shot with any troop, just move your business, investments and family, let 1000000 Igbo families and investments do that and see what will happen to Nigeria.

I don't dig any of the two of Biafra wanabee leaders, Uwazuruike is a politician while Kanu is a tyrant who don't give room for change or improvement.

Let igbos relocate to East and see Biafra stand, no war, no hassle just let all igbo banks move to Enugu, let all their businesses and investments relocate and his how Nigeria will drop death.

Imagine our fellow Omanbala insulting and attacking another fellow and her family, what can one say about such case despite all the plea and lobbying by good number of omanbalas.
