This is the song i have been singing all year long. The hype this team received was too much. We featured mostly academy players while Brazil featured young professionals. Well, they can still qualify from the group. We hope to Beat Korea DPR and Hungary |

In one of my earlier posts, I talked about this! We were expecting victory but we get the vice versa, however we shouldn't tongue-lash the Lads or their handlers. We should put our faith in the Lads to do the needful in the following matches. They wanted to break the jinx, but failed. Their performances today was unexpected of them, but that do not mean we should lose confidence in them. We were over hyping them, now we've seen the difference between U17 and U 20 They gonna qualify from the Group as either a Runner up or best 3rd! Just Believe!!! Up |

mrham03: You are right. But many of us did not see the tactical error coming at all. If you followed my posts, I gave my reservations immediately I saw the line up. This was not the tactics we expected. We were undone by the coach 1 Like |

jieta:yeah, i think his first mistake was bringing ndidi into the game. It broke down the midfield. I think the front 3 didnt click today and i see signs of selfishness among them. |

This tactics probably could have whipped another team. Yes the subs were wrong, but can we at least give kudos to the Brazilians?! They played good football, period!! 1 Like |

EagleScribes:well the tactics work in the first half but in the second half the brazilian coach made some alterations, he told the their ryt back to limit his runs forward and made their midfielders cut supplies to naija's attackers. Manu garba should have changed the formation to 4-4-2. Maybe its time one striker sits on the bench. |

Those calling for enaholo head should chill. This was how alampasu started at the U17 world cup. as the tournament progressed he got his grooved back and perfected to be the tournament best goal keeper! Enaholo will still start 2nd match. |

Thank God this is the first. Now we are back to reality, no more disneyland fairytale. U20 world cup na another level entirely. Mehn, this brazilians that were supposed to be weak completely outclassed and outplayed us in the second half. No response at all from our team. Keeper contributed a lot to this defeat. The brazilians really surprised me. I have read so many predictions but these guys showed us why they are 5 times champion. But no shaking. We must win our next 2 matches and we are back on track. 2 Likes |

Pride Goeth before a Fall.... ...Ayoniyi... See as you just frittered away two chances on a platter!! A MEGA MTCHEEEW on your behalf!!! Enaholor... Work on your goalkicks please!!...They are AWFUL!!! Manu Garba... A humble pie is in order or don't you think so? Your team should learn how to dictate the tempo of a match. The midfielders and the defence are your biggest culprits! Idunno whether it's because of therain @ the beginning of the 2nd half that made your defnce and midfielders to abandon the free-flowing passes on the ground and opt instead for lobbing balls to the strikers. That wasn't a very great strategy especially as the Brazilians had very tall players who were very good in the air. Anyway sha, its nice you lost as it won't be such a bad idea to be more cautious in your approach to games next time. Nigerians: Two more matches to go..Dont give up hope!! The Land is Green! |

the boys are gud, the team is also gud but people must realize dis is football, u are bound to either win, draw or loss. The team can win the tournament but the greatest challenge will be unity, teamwork and not being over confident. |

Everybody should chill, keep calm, football is a crazy game, this is what this team and the fans need to minimize the pressure. They will surely bounce back and stronger. Some of us who is aware how things works sometimes still believe that we can still go all the way if they don't lose focus. They should forget that they've lost a game and believe in themselves. U-20 is much more difficult than u-17 2 Likes |
