i did a gear oil change once,buh did not change the filter
i just ordered the filter aswell as d recommeded oil...will it solve the prob?
i also noticed d gear somtimes will stick to the 3rd gear...(buh not always)
it also does not accelerate in reverse..

P0303= cylinder 3 misfire. Check sparkplugs, sparkplug coilpack, wire harnesses

P0305= cylinder 5 misfire. Check sparkplugs, sparkplug coilpack, wire harnesses

P0171= bank 1 too lean


P0136= Bank1 Sensor2 O2 error. (resistance ought to be 11-16ohm), check connectors and terminals leading to that sensor, and check bank close to the sensor for leakages. Also, you might need to che
ck petrol tank cap.

P1133= A/F sensor Bank1 Sensor1

P0440=evap emission control system. Check fuel tank cap, VSV valve pipes etc.


However, check all harnesses, earth and terminals then check each sensor affected (as mentioned above), then check ECU.

Hello house, i acquired a Lexus Rx300 Suv in January this year and i have been driving it since then. I have come to notice that whenever i switch on the engine and immediately put on the A/C, a whistling noise always emanate from the engine and this goes on till i switch the gear to drive and accelerate. The noise will then fizzle out.

What could be the problem and What's the way out please?

The A/C fan belt

You have to check the pulleys, and serpentine belt to know if they're still good, if they're bad, change them with genuine ones. If they're still good, (while the engine is turned off and not running) check for slack or taut in the serpentine belt and adjust it.

it means i will need to take it to an Auto Mech for adjustment should it be a problem of slack in the serpentine belt

by the way i used the Toyota 5W-30 motor oil, men that oil is so light and clear that one can almost use it to fry plantain. the engine sounds great now.
