thank you very much, first thing youll need to do for a student interview is to be calm (very calm) then have a strong financial background, know more about your major and specialization of your course, and how it make you a successful student when u come back, then prove to them you have strong family ties in your home country i.e ( parents, multiple siblings, awaiting job,or fixed bank deposit) and with god by your side you are good to go... try search for a good private school then maybe when yoi arrive you change it to a cheaper one, thats what people do. I hope i heve answered your questions sir?

Boss, Can you help me get Oluwole SOA? And what if the VO say "I'm sorry I can't issue you a visa at this time....." What should be my reaction? Should I attempt to break the demarcating glass Or Set the embassy ablaze

@modelboy, you are not doing bad but I can guarantee you that you won't be able to answer all the questions on this thread. There are a thousand and one unique cases that you may not have had experience on. If I were you, I'd rather respond to people's questions accordingly, that way, people won't see you as showing off, by coming to the thread to say exactly what you can do. That being said, I feel it's also expedient to allow people test your credibility, lend people your social capital and the accrued interest will be unimaginable. However, keep doing what you know how to do best. Well done modelboy, I want to be like you when I grow up, but I'll like to be "modelman"

When applying for the F1 visa, one is being asked for one's preferred place of pick up. Here I've seen those granted visa (according to their transcripts) being given a sheet of paper with the pick up location indicated.

Is it possible that where the VO indicates can be different from where one initially picked? Do we have people with such experience here?

I'm sorry about that sir. I almost fell into that trap. They don't accept pension account, such fund can only be accessed after retirement, consequently, not available for immediate use. Kindly look out for someone with a savings or current (checking) account.

Yes.When I got mine VI was circled, but I later got a mail telling me to get the visa at the Isolo office(airport Junction)

I THINK the location you picked while filling ur DS from is what matters

Welcome modelboy on board but i can see that you are a comedian... Infact you don make everyone for here laugh and dont worry loads of questions are coming and am sure you will assist them with answers grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

I dont think there is a need for you telling people to quote you if they need assistance because people will quote you, even PM you secretly after they have seen you quoting a post with a suitable answer or assistance.

I think you wish to contribute here but look first,

In all things not all post you can quote learn first so as to know what to do at the right time..
