I feel is the other way around. If the pitch is wide, you need Natural wingers because they reach the attack by crossing the ball. That covers the distance. In a narrow pitch, it suits an inverted winger because he is closer to the post and does not need to run a long distance to shoot.

Remember Henry when he joined Arsenal at Highbury. The pitch was small and Narrow. Henry had a swell time there.

I get your point. But remember Arsenal had full backs like Lauren and Ashley Cole who added width to the attack while Viera and Silva holds back for them. Musa and Mustapha have not been able to give that and while Idowu did a great job today, the full backs were not exceptional in their end-products

And if you want someone in the mould of Henry, then Awoniyi should be dropped for Isaac success

It seems that the Brazilian coach is a Great second half strategist. Barely 5 minutes into the Game and they scored!

I was mightily pissed at savior Godwin in the first half, twisting and turning and getting nowhere, possibly has not gotten into his groove. Sokarihas great shots but needs more accuracy in shooting and passing. Musa's crosses still needs a lot of working on, but his freekicks area beauty.

Success has no mate in this tournament amongst the strikers, he is really the beast. These kids are too kiddy to stop him. He just needs the passes. I think the guys that have played real pro football should be brot in. I want to see moses simon on the left. I don't think success and simon has any jitters. They are way past this level. Iheanacho should come back. Akinjide should be retained.

So if this game ends 1-1(most likely) and Nigeria wins/draws Hungary, all 3 teams could go forward, right?


This whole scenario remubds me of our U18 group.

1st game- Nigeria(Brazil) wins, Mexico(Nigeria)loses and Sweden(Hungary) wins

2nd game- Nigeria draws.Mexico wins *and Sweden draws

3rd game- perhaps the same pattern? With Mexico(Nigeria) grabbing a win against a Swedish(Hungarian) side that looked sturdy against the team that they lost to in the opening game

That is false. Not all goals are mistakes. Sokari's goal was not from a mistake. Success two goals have been well worked.

Brazil did not have to do anything special to score. Our defending was shambolic.
