Brotherly! It's not an intrusion rather a very good observation! We played good football when Yahaya was introduced, though the Boys ain't under pressure at the time.
I sincerely believe the Lads can match any Team, cos they are getting their rhythm back at the moment!
Watch out for the next game, then you gonna see the real Flying Eagles in action with a Barcelona-like attacking football!

To be sincere , they ve not really entertained us .... They re joy watch when it comes to attacking football , passes and quality ball control . Manu pls let's have a feel of what the African champion is up to . They re better of playing tiki-taka and not the lobbing of ball upfront . Lobbing of the ball has not really produced result in the previous matches .

After reading through recent comments, one thing seem to hold sway- Palpable fear. If indeed the FE had won brazil, we would not have been enmeshed in this mathematical quagmire. Before the brazil match nigerians had no doubt in the ability of the team to win matches; all we wanted was good football. But now the story is different...confidence is almost eroded. A good team plays for a win in every circumstance and overtime that winning mentality has been inculcated in the boys by their coaches. If we indeed have a good team, we should be happy to face the best at every opportunity. I have said it before, and I reiterate: This is just age grade football meant to discover talents. We are just killing ourselves here over draw and lose when the team is indeed planning to win and win well going by their antecedents. They have been wounded by brazil, let then venge their anger on another powerhouse if they are favourite for the cup.

Sub:
60-65mins.. Yahaya ⇌ Saviour
69-73mins.. Iheanacho ⇌ Awoniyi ( Success will now play as a winger)
75-80mins.. Success ⇌ Moses/Bulbwa

Hungary is a team that will like to hit us hard with counter attack because what they will have in mind is to play a goalless draw with us.. Ifeanyi and idowu are defensively minded players so i think it will be hard for Hungary to achieve their plans but the coach needs to tell both the winger and ifeanyi to help mustapha. Only him playing as defender, mid-fielder and winger same time is not good and again, he should stop being in a hurry to attack. His no.1 duty is to defend and not to attack likewise musa. Ifeanyi is improving more especially his long range passes but he must avoid silly mistakes.
Sokari from his game so far is not that much a counter attack minded midfielder. He is a wonderful midfielder that will always be controlling the tempo of the game, slowing it down when needed. Iheanacho contributed more offensively in the game he played than bulbwa. He gave an assist and also hit the bar. The only problem with him is that he is not contributing defensively but i think after the snub by Manu, he will up his overall contribution. Moreover he is very very good when it comes to counter attack than Bulbwa.
Saviour is that type of player that always tries to dribble and score.. His effort will be needed much during 2nd-half so starting yahaya will be better cause he is not that selfish with the ball and is very good in assisting.
When it comes to confidence and composure in front of the goalpost at this current stage, mehn, Success is still ahead of Awoniyi. i'm a strong fan of Awoniyi but mehn, Success got two opportunities and scored with it while awoniyi missed atleast 4 chances. We can't gamble in-front of goals. Any opportunity we get must be converted to a goal; so starting Success will be more okay than starting Awoniyi moreover he is faster than Awoniyi. Awoniyi can come in during 2nd-half and do what he does best(assisting).

I was discussing with my university football coach about this tournament although his country didn't qualify and i didn't know the man is even following everything and the man told me he is yet to miss a nigerian match. He told me clear that when it comes to quick counter attack, so far in New Zealand, that Nigeria is the most dangerous because when they are on counter attack just a maximum of 4 passes will result to a goal. He was like saying our first and second goals against brazil was after two and three passes where interchanged respectively while our second goal against N.Korea involved only a single pass. that the possibility of nigerian counter attack resulting to a goal is 90% which is even more better than the germanys and portuguess.

Guys Nigeria can still finish first if:

N/Korea beats Brazil by 1 goal or any margin and Nigeria beats Hungary by one goal or any Margin. If we finish 1st we face Uruguay.
Any which way, Germany, Serbia or Uruguay, no easy 2nd rnd for us.

Our boys just need to go out tomorrow and do the job regardless of who we are to play in d next rnd.

Playing Germany in the 2nd rnd puts us against winner of Ghana vs 3ACD in q/Final
Playing Serbia in 2nd rnd puts us against winner of USA VS Colombia in Q/Final
Playing Uruguay in 2nd rnd puts us against winner of Portugal vs 3ABF in Q/Final

So no merry ride any which ways

Mexico does not play copa america.They play the north american gold cup.

They play COPA America. Some times they play as invited guest country. The USA was invited the last time.

See this:
The 2015 Copa América will be the 44th edition of the Copa América, the main international football tournament for national teams in South America. The competition will be organized by CONMEBOL, South America's football governing body. The tournament will be held in Chile from 11 June to 4 July 2015.[1] Uruguay is the defending champion. Twelve teams will compete, the ten members of CONMEBOL and two guests from CONCACAF – Mexico and Jamaica, the latter of which will compete in Copa América for the first time.

The winner of the tournament, or the best placed CONMEBOL team if Mexico or Jamaica win the tournament, will qualify for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup hosted in Russia.

Qualification and disciplinary aspects explained

The FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand 2015 has entered into the decisive phase of the group stage, with the conlcuding matches in each section deciding which teams will go on, and which will have to pack their bags.

FIFA.com guides you through the criteria for calculating the final tables.

The first and second paced team in each group will qualify directly for the Round of 16. According to the Regulations of the Tournament, the ranking of the teams in each group will be determined as follows:
a) greatest number of points obtained in all group matches;
b) goal difference in all group matches;
c) greatest number of goals scored in all group matches.

If two or more teams are equal on the basis of the above three criteria,
their rankings will be determined as follows:
d) greatest number of points obtained in the group matches between the
teams concerned;
e) goal difference resulting from the group matches between the teams
concerned;
f) greater number of goals scored in all group matches between the teams
concerned;
g) drawing of lots by the FIFA Organising Committee.

Besides the two top teams in each group, the four best third-placed teams will enter the Round of 16. This will be determined as follows:
a) greater number of points obtained in all group matches;
b) goal difference resulting from all group matches;
c) greater number of goals scored in all group matches
d) drawing of lots by the FIFA Organising Committee.

Disciplinary Aspects
As per Circular 10 of the FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand 2015, single yellow cards will be cancelled after the quarter-finals.

Godwin is almost in same category with Simeon Moses. They always hold the ball. Playing counter attack with any of them will be difficult cause they will be releasing the ball at almost the wrong time. We need early goals to disorganize hungary's plan. Best is to bring them into the game during second half to make the hungary's midfielders and defenders do a-lot of marking and defending thereby pushing them backwards and same time, TIME is been wasted.

Flying Eagles fired up to beat Hungary

Flying Eagles of Nigeria coach Manu Garba has said a win over North Korea has lifted his team’s spirits to beat Hungary on Sunday to stay on track for a first-ever U20 World Cup.

The African champions dusted themselves up from a 4-2 opening day loss to five-time champions Brazil to hammer Korea 4-0 on Thursday.

A win or a draw on Sunday against second-placed Hungary will send the Flying Eagles through to the knockout stage of the 2015 World Cup in New Zealand.

“Our win against Korea has motivated the team after we lost our first game to Brazil,” declared Manu at Saturday’s official press briefing at Stadium Taranaki in New Plymouth.

“We want to at least finish second in our group and so we want the maximum points against Hungary.”

Moses Simon shuns Fenerbache, Dortmund

He added: “We came here to win every game because we want to win the World Cup. We don’t want to go back home early, we want to be the last team to leave New Zealand.”

However, the coach admitted they will be up against a good and well organised Hungary team, who finished fourth in an U19 European Championship they hosted last year.

“Even as we wish to win this match, we have to say Hungary are a good side. But they cannot afford to stay back in defence against us as they did against Brazil because we have one of the best attacks in this competition,” he said.

Kick-off time for this Sunday showdown will be 5pm local, which will be 6am same day in Nigeria.

I don't think the weather in New Zealand is that bad. 15°C is not too bad for acclimatisation not to occur in 1 week. If they are having less than 10°C and trained in a 20°C environment, that's where the problem is.

As long as there is bad there, then the preparation was not ideal. The problem is not if they will acclimatize but if the preparation was ideal for the Brazilian game. It was not. The German weather and that of Germany was different. So that was bad judgment from the NFF because the camping was for two major reasons. Playing against professional sides and training for three weeks in similar weather condition they would play in the competition.

By the way, Auckland New Zealand temp as of Yesterday is 10°C
And Frankfurt Germany 22°C.

So the difference is similar to what you tagged a problem.

Israel, though in the middle east, is a member of UEFA. The were previously under the AFC. However, continuous friction with their Arab Neighbours prompted this move.
