For some reason, the Falcons have been so slow in movement. The front two hardly put pressure on the Swedish defense whenever the Swedes are in possession of the ball too.
Either Umotong or Courtney Dike should come on in the 2nd half
i prefer Umotong at this stage. And that freekick on the edge of the box, i expected Ayinde to take it. Haruna just said Dede should retire. Unfortunately, no lady have been so complete to bench her. Operation Find A New Female Goalie.

The coach pattern of play seems not to be working. all i see is wing play and long balls and players holding unto the ball for to long. The defence lost or lacks confidence. Three players on ashaola. opaz has not been give a through pass.


Sweden is technically and tactically better

we are having problem in that team because they rely too much on my sister Azeeezat Oshoala, the coach failed to plan the team work and has failed to plan.
d close range free kick for example.

how can u play ur right wing out of the field. must every ball be directed to her? u picked the best players so ur 11, 9, 7 and 10 should be average if not more than, because we have Azeezat she must play everything, if they change der game style, step up Their game, coordinate the defence, am sure Azeezat is willing and ready to help get back into the back, ge is our youngest beat player, yes! but she cant do it alone.

she could have scored that last opportunity if she placed the ball at first post because most keeper would be expecting the shot at last post thereby opening the first. It was a solo effort which could have hit target, I don't blame her. It was a nice try.

If our girls want to defeat Sweden they should
1. They should not be too much in a hurry
2. When a corner kick is awarded to Sweden they should try to create space for the goalkeeper to see there by pushing the Swedish out
3. They should be reserve when in the opponent 18 yards box.
Any way I love their play ( physically fit )

Till the end of the match I wish them luck against their Swedish counterpart

We keep making the same errors in all world cups and expect a different result. High work rate will more reliably give us good results in african nations cup, but in world cup, it is more of technicality, dead ball optimisation, learning to slow down pace of the game to stay in control , play more counters ,....e.t,c

Well, Ebere usually delivers good set-pieces; but I was expecting her to float it into the mixer for a header.
As for the goalkeepers, sadly none of Dede's competitors aren't much better than her.
