Responding to questions on ChannelsTV’s Sunrise daily, APC National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed stated that President Buhari is not the leader of APC and that the party has many leaders.

In his words: ‘The President is a product of the party and they are many leaders of the party”. He also mentioned that the party has the capacity to resolve its National Assembly leadership crisis. The PDP has declared it will stand with Saraki for Senate President and Dogara for Speaker, during voting on the floor of the National Assembly today.

Meanwhile, President Buhari is expected to wade into the National Leadership tussle that has split the APC this morning after arriving the country last night from his trip to Germany.

He his right. APC is not bound to follow PDP's style of party structure and leadership. Beside, is Obama the national leader of the democratic party in the US?

Liar, he didn't say that. What he said was that he is not the only leader of the party. Tha the party has many leaders. Remember Lai Muhammed is from Kwara state the same state Bukola is from so why he has not been openly canvassing for him?

It is expected cos APC is an almagamation of so many vested interests and the only thing buhari brought to the negotiating table is his supposedly integrity/incorruptibility and his teeming almajiris support.

So its easy for lai to say such cos there are godfathers who stake party structures/platforms, investments both in cash and kind and even behind the scene dirty jobs to make him president.

Indirectly he still belong to some people who will call the shots.

Be clear on what he meant. The APC is a merger of two parties, as such it is unrealistic to expect a single "leader", and his statement does not suggest that PMB is not an authority in the party's affairs.

He is right. APC is made of defunct CPC, ANPP,nPDP, rebel APGA, and ACN. So we have many leaders. And their interest must be protected or else your guess is good as mine. Defunct CPC produced the president while ACN d vice president. So they should give nPDP the Senate president and ANPP the SGN for peace to reign. Thank you.

Leaders my foot! For two weeks now, Nigeria has got no sense of direction

I swear I feel indifferent about this statement. I don't know what to say other than 'it is well even in the well where there is no water'.
