I don't see X-men returning soon tbh, it's too successful for Fox to let go. The best hope we have is Fantastic Four. Spidey back is the best news this year. Question is who should play him? And what villain should they use? I'm tired of seeing Osborn and Green Goblin

They could do the same deal that brought spidey into the MCU. I heard spidey will appear in a marvel movie first probably civil war and then he will have his own movie and it will most likely not be a reboot.

Even the one-shots? Wow
Wait a sec, you didn't watch the One-Shots?! Dude...c'mon son, that's why I was excited about the Agent Carter series, her Marvel One-Short was awesome. Shame they stopped them.

The only one-shots I saw was the one with agent sitwell, iron man and a general about the abomination.

Agent Sousa is my favourite character tho.

I'm too lazy, so I'll quote myself...

cao:

No. There are currently 5 in total.
1. The Consultant: Set after Iron Man 2 & Incredible Hulk, it's simply a conversation between Agents Coulson & Sitwell. TPTB want the Abomination for the Avengers Initiative, of course Fury doesn't want that crazy SOB, so Coulson & Sitwell sabotage it by sending Tony Stark to talk to General Ross. About 4 mins long. This was released with the Thor Blu-Ray.

2. A Funny Thing Happens on the Way to Thor's Hammer: Well that's self-explanatory. A robbery happens in the gas station, while Coulson's buying snacks. Slow-mo action happens, then he leaves. About 4 mins long. This was released with Captain America:TFA BR.

3. Item 47: Set immediately after the Avengers. A couple activate a Chitauri weapon, then they go bank robbing, as you do. SHIELD is having none of that. About 12 minutes long. This was released with the Avengers BR.

4. Agent Carter: Well, I've already explained that one. This was released with the Iron Man 3 BR.

5. All Hail the King: Set after Iron Man 3, follows the Fake Mandarin, whose being interviewed in prison. This was the first one I watched, before I worked backwards. Let's just say Trevor Slattery still doesn't understand the mess he's in, since by the end of the short we find out his interviewer, Jackson Norriss, is working for the real Ten Rings. He breaks Trevor out of prison to meet the Mandarin. Trevor is still clueless. About 14 mins long. Released with the Thor: The Dark World BR.

Also, watch out for the mid-credit and post credit scenes. Unfortunately, they didn't release any short with the Captain America:TWS BR. Here's hoping they do something for GotG BR.

Wow. I just realised I have watched the first 3. I remember searching for them on YouTube but couldn't find the rest. The audio quality was poor tho in the version I watched. Any idea why they killed them off?

**shrugs** the only reason I discovered them was that All Hail to the King was a very popular torrent on kickass, so I got it then got the rest immediately after.

Cool pics, what's her obsession with dumpsters anyway cheesy
Do you think the series will be faithful to her comics as Daredevil stayed true to his? Cos if they stick to her source material we'll get one hell of an R rated show. In the comics, Jessica Jones swears a lot, drinks like a fish, & screws around like a ....you know what i'm getting. Add the fights and you have the whole SNVL-Sex,Nudity,Violence,Language.
Captain America would not approve. Any chance he appears in a cameo just to warn her and scream "Language!"

Also, did you guys hear that spiderman is joining the MCU? I dnt know if this has been mentioned before. Spiderman in the MCU is the biggest knows there is.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Spiderman, and I'd rather not see him in the MCU.

Samuel L. Jackson has confirmed Nick Fury will not be appearing in Captain America: Civil War. Good idea as i don't know how he's expected to choose a side without breaking his heart in two. Chris Pratt thinks Star-Lord can beat Cap with the help of Rocket. I don't know about that, sounds like wishful thinking.
New Antman TV spot as well.

It is a bummer that Nick Fury won't appear in Civil War. His character is so important that him not showing up would be hard to explain, what could he possibly be doing that he won't show up.

Star-Lord is just delusional if he thinks he can take on Cap even with rocket's help, He may be the space version of the guy but he is not even close in skill or anything to the Captain.

Well, I know Ritter can swear with the best of them, and she did play the eponymous b**** in Don't Trust the B**** in Apartment 23 with absolute relish. Since this is Netflix, I expect they'll do her justice.

Tbf to Star-Lord he has access to technology no one on earth has seen. With his Jet Boots & Element Guns, he could hide behind a tree and take Cap from behind cheesy. If it comes down to hand-to-hand fighting though, he's dead. Rocket or no Rocket
Which begs the question, who would win a fight between the new Avengers and The Guardians? I'm thinking Avengers. Vision alone should be enough

The whole Star-Lord vs Cap reminds me of the fight scene in Indiana Jones & the Raiders of the Lost Ark. The guy comes out with all those sword tricks and Indy just shoots him, and since Star-Lord definitely watched that film before his abduction (he did mention the Ark during the scene when he was talking about the Orb in the Kyln), he'd pull that stunt real quick.

Damn. The character of Nick Fury is important to these films.

Well even if he doesn't appear in any live scenes, I'm sure he will be featured in archived scenes.

Nope, it's Raiders. The scene is even referenced in Doom, when Indy smugly reached for his gun during a fight with 2 swordmen, only to realise it wasn't there. You can check, while I wait*...

I barely read comics as a kid, and I don't have any inclination to them anymore. I know some people here are really into comics.

So I was wondering if there's a comic about the upcoming Ant-Man film? If so, how good is it? Does it make sense? Is it entertaining and exciting?
The name sounds weird to me, and it doesn't cause any curioisty or zeal in me to see the movie.
It kinda reminds me of that Sandman character in Spiderman III (staring Tobey Maguire). I always thought that was a really silly character.
And now Ant-man? Ants? Really?
I know I'll still watch it, as it's part of the MCU that I love, but still...

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I get where you're coming from, Ant-Man can seem weird if you're not familiar with the character. The only Ant-man comic i've read apart from where he appears in the Avengers issues is Irredeemeable Ant-man which was pretty sick and fun.
They're basically 3 guys who have used the Ant-Man costume...Pym,Lang & O'Grady. Hank Pym is the original, one of the founding members of the Avengers and one of those brilliant-scientist-whose-invention/mistake-grants-him-superpowers types...like Bruce Banner & Tony Stark his greatest asset is his mind. Scott Lang's a con artist/thief who donned the costume for family reasons. Eric O'Grady was someone who didn't deserve the suit, though he came good in the end i was glad when they killed him off.
Ant-man's abilities make him useful, on the Avengers & FF teams he usually plays the role of the ITK, always in the know and always aggravating. He usually gets them into and outta the tights spots. The pym particles allow him to shrink and increase in size...Ant-man/Giant-man combo. He's smart & resourceful, cos he's constantly underestimated you don't usually see him coming, he could take out any superhero from the inside, being miniature does have it's uses. Plus he has an army of ants he can control. I've always liked Antman cos he's never a straightforward typical hero, as Pym/Lang/O'grady he's an alcoholic, addict, wife-beater, thief, traitor, murderer....there's almost no line he hasn't crossed. So he's a psychologically complex and unstable character. I always hoped the movie would focus on Pym but it seems it'll focus instead on Lang with Pym as a mentor. Lang is more likable than the other iterations of ant-man so i guess that's why. So i think it'll be a fun, thrills typa movie

Haha i literally rushed to post it bro, was so happy! Bleep Jason man, Marvel will cast someone better . That's how everyone wanted Tom Hardy for Punisher then Marvel gave us this guy and we're ecstatic. Oh and Elektra will not suck, i guarantee it. All the female characters in season 1 had great performances, Madame Gao, Vanessa, Karen, Night Nurse...so i'm not worried. They'll do her justice

All she needs is an honourable death cheesy
Now you've reminded me of all the heartbreaking deaths in Season 1. I can usually predict who will die in a movie/series but i was taken totally by suprise at least 4 times. Damn! I wish they kept some of them alive at least.
