Hello good people! congrats to all the TRV hopefuls in advance. A quick one here: I am about submitting my application next week, was delayed before for: travel history, purpose of visit and your personal assets and financial status. I have two admission letters and financial assistance, MUN (Oil and Gas Engineering) with 15,500 Canadian dollars yearly and Uni of Alberta (Engineering Management) with 22,000 dollars. i applied with MUN before thereafter i got my offer letter from Ualberta. MUN offer is WITHOUT condition, but UAlberta is WITH condition, which I can meet-original certificate and official transcript. I have choose UAlberta based on work potential, but my question basically is which of the offer letter will i applied with now? one is without condition-MUN and one is with condition-UAlberta? Personal SOA-3m, landed properties, pension, married (my home tie). I will appreciate advice from the house |

[quote author=tawlah post=34643119]Download the study permit questionnaire forms and checklist and fill at home. Make sure u review your responses critically and in no rush. U also try to get to d visa app centre early enough so as to do biometrics same day. Got there before 7am and was the 4th on the queue. u will need hard copies of ur sponsor's docs I think since it's paper route. Can I print out the business documents & sponsor's biodata page in coloured form & then certify them? Is police clearance form (i hope u understand) compulsory as well? |

invincible2006: You are free to ask more questions. I didn't get any sms or email that it has been received. I received an email notifying me of an update to my CIC account (POE letter of introduction) the following day or a couple of days after submission. I received two sms from VFS on Friday. One that my passport was ready for collection and the second was that it has been collected. Cheers! |

Remember, apply to canada and aussie at the same time. No one can tell u what program will suit u. You should know Ur strengths and weakness and try to choose a course that compliments ur strength. 2 Likes |

Phronesis2: I'm not basing this on anything in particular but I would go with UofA just because it has a bigger name plus I personally think Engineering Management is probably a better career route. On the other hand though, manitoba is a smaller province so they might be accepting more people there. |

ada4all: Don't get bent out of shape about this bill. It's a bill that got recently passed by a conservative govt that will probably loose the next election and that bill will probably get challenged at the supreme court. Also this is only used for specific cases. |

Princewilliam00: MBA is a very competitive program to get into in Canada. Almost if not all schools I know about require 2:1 minimum. However, I think a marvelous GMAT score (700 or above) coupled with a strong letter of intent might make the admission officer take a closer look at your application. 1 Like 1 Share |

PLEASE URGENT O! Which bank is cheaper for payment of tuition via Visa/MasterCard. I want to pay for my tuition today as time is running out. As I read from previous post, it seems like Diamond and First Bank are good, but if anyone paid lately with any bank, please help me with the exchange rate. My head is spinning due to "no time". Thanks as I await response from different folks. |

Based on my research, there is a quota of international students granted entry into Canada each year which is 400,000. It is however not based on province. This is the reason for the delay in processing times because the Canadian Government increased the number of International students but did not increase the CIC staff. 1 Like |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Crich(f): 10:30am On Jun 11, 2015 |
gabrola: Your brother can write and sign the letter. If he doesnt have access to a scanner, he should use his phone to take a pix and send to the bank's email address(which u can get for him in one of the bank branches or d particular branch he opened his acct). You might have to go to d bank to find out how it's done cos some banks require d customer to have an indemnity in place to cover soft copies instructions like his. |
