Xplicit007: Temporary Resident Visa. Yes there are a list of schools. Yes you can apply for masters program or diploma, depending on your B.SC cert. |

dedicateDD: I think Yes you can sponsor yourself (self-sponsor). He can cover the gap by simply telling them what he was doing within those years (which is business or working or saving finance for his education). Or were there other things he was doing? 3 Likes |

[quote author=chrisviral post=34711485] Temporary Resident Visa. Yes there are a list of schools. Yes you can apply for masters program or diploma, depending on your B.SC cert. @chrisviral I studied physics in unilag and I would like to go for master in Geophysics or science oriented programs. Can anyone streamline the schools for the course. After applying what next? The steps to finish the process...Am I going to be paying for the tution ? |

dedicateDD: hello friend, you are 28. and you only mentioned wassce and neco. i am ASSUMING what you want is to go for an undergrad course in canada. and you want to self-sponsor. ok i really don't mind what your age is at this point because for you to say you want to self sponsor, you must be into oil and gas... period . so yes if you are into that much money, you can self-sponsor and also be ready to write a killer SOP because for me, i believe no age is too young to go for undergrad, and the V.O knows this too. you just need to convince the V.O thats all. and that business giving you so much money, you need to prove to the V.O that someone would take over and keep it up an running to prove as home tie. kol1234: hello sir, congrats on chopping ur trv, but what im most interested in ur application package is ur msc admission to uni of alberta, hw did u secure the msc did u mail any prof in ur department or is ur gpa extremely high, i intent to apply to this same uni for msc in elect/elect winter(january) admission, i have an average gpa of 4.02/5.0 what are my chances of being accepted, i don't want to waste money on sending my transcript if i know the school won't accept me , a single transcript from my school costs 25,000 and i plan on applying to three schools, so my questions 1. which schools you applied to 2. what are my chances of getting msc admission in u of alberta 3. what was ur undergrad gpa |

Xplicit007:....As per school...you can look up this link to streamline the masters course you want http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-institutions-list.asp...I know there are thones of schs there so make good use of google ...only you know what interest you the most....i can't choose for you...perhaps, someone in that line already in Canada could point out few tips and tricks for you based on his/her experience...I remember a friend on this forum going for PHD in physics related course in Simon Fraser University(SFU)....you can look the school up first....his name is Quantumfisika (You can tell by the name )..... |

Fablady: Why are you so depressed? You don't need to be... Cheer up,you're getting there.... Just be resilient and persistent. I would advise that in the coming week from Monday, contact more professors in other similar research areas. For instance, if you wanna do a corrosion based research, you could also look at contacting a supervisor in Surface science and engineering or material characterization and processing field. If you check their work/publications, you'll see that they do some research in those fields as well which implies how close the fields are. Don't limit yourself to only 3 professors. Try and contact at least 10 professors.. 1 person MUST reply positive, just believe. 2 Likes |

sponsoring yourself is not the best move when it cmes to canadian visa application......you haveto havea concrete home tie to back it up.....most likely a family to leave behind like wifes and children. instead u have to look for a sponsor... dedicateDD: |
