hayqinsbFX:Impossible is nothing! From my experience, people have self-sponsored themselves for PGD and Diploma prog. to Canada on this forum. I also got medical call in 2011 as a self-sponsor(still in Naija though) and I was single. Though I wrote a convincing SOP and I have good hometies which I explained on my SOP. 3 Likes

I think there's a sense of relief around the house now. If you can package the right documents and ask yourself the questions the VO would ask you about your app and answer them accordingly with the right documents or SOP then back it up with prayer. Let the medicals continue next week.... Where are the may guys? |

hayqinsbFX:The quote was meant to inspire the guy and others who might feel their chances are slim to sponsor themselves, even when they have the means; and they don't have or cannot get a sponsor. 2011 or 2015, the fact still remain, being a self-sponsor cannot rule out your chance of getting a study visa to Canada. It all depends on individual case and story. Keep calm & enjoy your weekend sir. 3 Likes |

KELVIN086: You can start from Google...like seriously you already know the school you want to apply why can't you go through their website and the website of the department to find about their requirement and how to apply....every school have different requirements...you have a good grade and you can even get a scholarship...most of this schools website has detailed information about everything and I mean everything you need to know...you just have to be a little patience and do some research online...you don't have to wait for anyone to tell you how he secured his admission or his undergraduate grade...the best place to get your information is from the school...anything you don't understand ask your department graduate assistant...she's your best friend in school and will be glad to answer your questions...I don't even know about Naira Land until I got admission and scholarship and I'm ready to apply for TRV...so you shouldn't just be here and be asking people to tell you how they got theirs while everything is there online... 5 Likes |

stevecrun: Although I got the visa, the US just wasn't for me at this time (my parents are just recovering from financial difficulties that arose after I got my visa) so Canada seems like a relatively cheaper and safer alternative for me. Besides, I can always go to the US for a Masters degree. How is the US treating you? 1 Like |
