My Phone Has Been Locked! By A Virus!! by Infomaz(m): 12:20am On Jun 14, 2015 |
I can't access my phone at all, because of a message that says " Your device is LOCKED! To unlock your device pay $100 via paysafecard, ukash or paypalmycash. Then submit your Vaucher code below....." I understand its a virus used by hackers to try and obtain personal and financial information for fraudulent purposes. Please how can I get rid of this virus? |

[quote author=Ositainklord post=34747416] if u didn't backup your data, you might lose it cos mehn, ure flashing that phone to get rid of that virus. I'm guessing it's an android. Infomaz:First do a hard rest by removing the battery, and wait for about 5 to 10 minutes and re-insert the battery and power on. if it is the un-removable type, simply visit a qualified phone repair technician, who will pry your device cover open, as to remove the battery terminals, and re-solder same after 5-10 minutes. Issues like this happens when one visits porn sites wit those ..s, puniz and b..bs flashing in the air. and click for more free s.x,where they offer more for a $, am not saying you do. Such sites are havens for hackers. My advice is run away 48 Likes 1 Share |

Really? Sorry. Thats why is always good to backup ones important files incase of incidence like this. Just flash your phone to factory default by pressing off button and volume button once together and the case of samsung off button, Volume button and center button. Next report to google of such virus in order for them to detect the program that perpetrated the act and curb it to avoid affecting others. Search for google report flatform. 5 Likes 1 Share |

How to Prevent Your Mobile Devices From Locking By AFP Ukash Scam 1). Watch out for your battery. A device draining easily is a red flag for you. This could indicate that there’s a malware or types of virus which is infecting your device. Check from time to time. That’s the best way of dealing with the problem. 2). Use passwords or pins which are strong enough. If your pattern is so easy, then others can access it. You just have to be careful. Who knows someone might be jealous on you? It will always be smart to be cautious. You can use application to help you be secured like the Lock Pro folder. 3). Un-root your device if you happened to root them. That will make it more secured.
1. Restart your phone to safe mode. Note: “Safe Mode” on Phone starts up without loading any third-party add-ons and different devices have different ways to access safe mode. For Samsung Galaxy S4, S5: 1. Power down. 2. Turn on and repeatedly tap the soft-button for “Menu.” For Samsung Galaxy S3 and others: 1. Power down. 2. Turn on, then press and hold Volume Down (Galaxy S3 and others), Volume Up (HTC One and others), or Volume Down and Volume Up together (various Motorola devices) when the vendor’s logo appears. If you have managed to select Safe Mode, you will see the text “Safe Mode” at the bottom left corner of the screen. Android-Safe-Mode 2. Once you have put your phone in safe mode, contact an expert for further removal instruction. Conclusion Australian Federal Police Ukash Virus is believed to be a member from the Ukash family. It has so far been created into different versions to attack PCs or android phone in different areas but mostly in Australia. These virus screens will act as real warnings from authorities. They will claim that you have downloaded something illegal or distributed banned pornography on the Internet which you may not have done any. But since you are now violating laws, your computer is locked. If it is android phone then it displays “attention your device has been locked”. Specific articles of violations will be elaborated one after another on the blocking screens trying to convince you that they are legit. By convincing you that your android phone or your computer is blocked by the real Australian Federal Police, this Ukash virus will be able to get you to pay the requested AUD $100 via Ukash in the end. If you pay, your cell phone or your computer will still be locked by the virus. But there are a few circumstances that computers will be unlocked after the payment is entered. However, the Ukash virus still lives inside the systems waiting for its second chance to pop up and scam you all over again. You should remember that the real government department will not publish such messages and will not charge you online, so do not believe anything this Australian Federal Police Ukash Virus says when you see this kind of message, and you need to remove it as fast as you can. If you just let the virus stay in your computer or your android phone, it may cause more problems including stealing system data or freezing your computer or cell phone completely. So please do not waste your time, remove this virus completely before it made potential damage to your computer or your android phone. 9 Likes 2 Shares |
