What evidence do you have that says 9 pilots and 9 navigators?
None?
Ok.
and what evidence do you have to say they are more than 9 pilots in 18 aircrew

Your own source denies your claim, it says Sea Spray radar is for ATR-72 only !

We need to agree on radar type or else how do we argue about radar range when we both dis-agree on what radar is on the ATR-42 ?

Post for us a source to prove your claim that ATR-42 uses Sea Spray radar you FRAUDSTER !

.

post your 400km radar range and settle the debat

or, you could name the radar in your ATR

You still have to prove we only have 9!
Or are you going to rely on the logical fallacy forever?
and yoh have no proof you have more than 9. so until you do, the logic stands

None

Thats why I dont say how many we have.

Now, what proof do you have that says we only have 9?

Logic?

Argument from ignorance (Latin: argumentum ad ignorantiam), also known as appeal to ignorance (in which ignorance stands for "lack of evidence to the contrary"wink, is a fallacy in informal logic. It asserts that a proposition is true because it has not yet been proven false (or vice versa).

Nothing.

You have no data-link

hmm!! okay. so our defence chiefs used youtubr to get live feeds from combat areas?

or our airforce wants the T-129 specifically to link through what? internet explorer?

Nigeria has only three F7 pilots and I don't know why we should be stretching this argument for too long.

Logic

"reasoned and reasonable judgment" (Advanced English Dictionary)

are you now looking for word definitions? is that what you have been reduced to? does this prove you have more than 9 pilots? huh?

You do not even have more than 6 operational F7s and as things are standing you only have three F7 pilots.

You still do not have a tactical data link. The first ATR to be configured with compatibility to LINK 11 and 16 is ATR 72

http://www.naval-technology.com/projects/atr-72-asw-anti-submarine-warfare-aircraft/

The aircraft is attached with a mobile turret mounted with electro-optic (EO) system for real-time tactical situation awareness.
Thales AMASCOS (Airborne Maritime Situation & Control System) mission system and AIS (Automatic Identification System) will be fitted to the ATR72-600 TMPA. It will also feature a Link 11 / 16 data-link and broadband satellite systems. This will be used for the
transfer of data in real-time to the ground command and control centres, as well as other platforms, both in air and on sea.

18 Aircrew. Post just 1 single source which states that means 9 pilots and 9 navigators. Why not 13 pilots and 5 navigators? If you feel like making sh.it up, have fun.....no one can stop you.

There is nothing to prove against claims made on Nairaland. That is something which clearly will never sink into that thick skull. Show us where in the world you see "9 Gripen SAAF pilots"....i dare you. You think you can make sh.it up then demand proof to counter your thumb suck? Are you m.ad?

-For the 10th time....how were there 8 pilots in Sweden when Nigerians said we only had 6? Why are you deadly silent on that?

You have even forgotten your own original question. 18 aircrew, a mix of pilots and navigators. Where did you get the number 9? Show us the link.

I wont hold my breath

dude, i seriously don't get what the fuzz is about datalink.

if NAMA, a civil authority can have an operatiinal datalink, what makes you think the government would not provide one for the military?

The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) in conjunction with SITA is deploying Controller Pilot Data Link Communication (CPDLC) facilities at Lagos and Kano Control Centres to enhance long range data communication between Air Traffic Controllers and the Pilots.
http://voiceofnigeria.org/nigeria/nama-deploys-data-link-facilities-to-boost-communication.html

We have given many proof that the Nigerian military has an operational datalink infrastructure. but being secretive, they will not let us know what type.

now the only thing i se here is south africans have never seen proof of SANDF operationak datalink. if there is, give us one instance where it's been used.

Bwhahahahajajajajajajajajajanaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa… Wow! This man finished my breath. Those are for civilian Air traffic controllers and since when is that a tactical data link.

Here it looks like even ATR 42 couldn't use a tactical data link rather the system was partial communicating with itself, that's why Italy ordered it.

That was stupidd of you then. It is equivalent of suggesting that someone bought a decoder to connect to DSTV. That agency is for air traffic controllers. Their is to arrange communication equipments to ensure smooth data transfer.

altgough i doubt the story as reporters will want to make a meal of the whole incidence, what else would you expect.

arresting bashir would have sparked confrontations between both countries. militarily or diplomatic

and many african governments will be against SA on this one because it will amount to discrediting the AU.

your government still doesn't understand International politics

i used an example how a datalink infrastructure for the military is no big deal if a civil authority has it's own.

wow!! the kind of illiteracy in SANDF is alarming.
