Oga Mevisleek and other gurus in the house, i urgently need your assistance and guidance on this; My sister and the husband who are both Canadian citizen want to co-sponsor my application for TRV. They have provided all document; 1. Co-sponsorship letter and declaration from sister and brother in-law pledging $20,000 CAD support as accommodation/living and miscellaneous expenses for the duration of Masters Degree program 2. Canada Revenue Agency Income Tax Return Information for sister and brother in-law 3. Statement of accounts 4. Sister and Brother in-law House document from The Mortgage Centre of Canada 5. Brother in-law marriage certificate to sister 6. Sister published change of name in the national daily 7. Sister Canadian citizenship certificate 8. Data page of brother in-law Canadian citizenship passport 9. Sister employment letter and work ID card 10. Sister pay slip 11. Sister Birth Certificate and Certificate of Registration of Birth 12. Brother in-law employment letter, license and work ID Sworn affidavit from sister and brother in-law is missing based on my perusal of document submitted by other people that have chopped TRV in the forum and i flagged it with my sibbling. My sister couldn't get it from the court in Ontario becuase they said they dont do sworn affidavit there. The question is am i good to go with my application without the sworn affidavit ?. I will appreciate your response on ways to go about the affidavit if it is required. Am providing my personal statement of account of almost N5M as the main sponsor and personal property worth of N18.5M. Am going for MEng and Tuition and living expenses id CAD29K. |

ddestiny: FYI: mevisbleek is a lady :-). I would say you are good to go. You can write on ur sop if u like that the ontario court does not do the affidavit. It's nice that Ur people gave u their notice of assessment and u also have a property. |

mevisbleek: Thank you very much, so the Sworn Affidavit of Co-Sponsorship is not mandatory and the Notarized Letter of Co-Sponsorhip should suffice ?. |

tnuola: I hav promised myself to be the first to comment on your testimony. Believe me, it will come too. hayqinsbFX: If them delay person untop financials, make e just go church go give testimony because e don almost sure-No need to repackage too much, na him straight pass. The most important thing is not to assume though, give them what is in line with your application and no oversight (my bane). 1 Like |

Hello every1 am new here. Was told to come here to know more about travelling to Canada. I would love to travel next year but hearing that the process is lengthy I will want to start my application now. Hope its not too much to ask, I would want to get a certificate course in environmental management and I will like suggestions on schools I could apply to that are not too expensive and good at the same time. I am a first time applicant and I have never left nija before. Thanks |

omooba2015:They need not be same surname, but A stranger cannot show up to sponsor you so u will need to show the relationship with sponsor n co-sponsor and why they are supporting you, SOP and Letter from sponsor should take care of that. Best of luck |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by omooba2015(m): 4:45pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
SeraSera:You mean the money may later leave the account as soon as, someone print his/her SOA. because,I had they normally confirm the available balance from the bank as that day they are asking.. Maybe those have been called for medical pr getting TRV, can help us through light to this issue. |

babajust:The past two application was actually delayed for same reason which r length of purposed stay, purpose of visit, limited employment prospect in my country, financial n personal asset, current employment situation. The 1st time my sop was very poor n I didn't submit any employment doc. The second time sop was okay but still didn't submit employment letter although I submitted payslips n leave letter n also as an assistant I was going for project management which wasn't related to my UG or my current job. But this time around had to submit all employment docs, changed my course to sometin similar to my UG course n even got a future employment letter from another firm that is relating to my course. Mind u my sop dis time was very complicated cos I was confuse on how to explain me changing course in all my applications, I actually wrote a 4 page sop (yah it was dat long n looks like a child crying for help lol) anywaz with the help of fellow nairalander I was able to shorten to 3 pages which is still much but i had no choice. 5 Likes |

omooba2015: Yes, the money may leave the account. Happened in my case and didn't affect the outcome of my application. It is advisable though to leave a meaningful amount to make things easier in the event that you need to reapply. Hopefully that would not be the case. |
