An ireport From Ikot Obiokut Akwa Ibom Nigeria

Nigeria Air Force Kill 350 In Akwa Ibom

Intel reports are confirming the Nigeria Air Force raid in Cross River was actually on a border community Ikot Obiokut.
The raid by Hind helicopter gunships using incendiary
bombs massacred over three hundred villagers and about twenty militants!
One villager who escaped the massacre by swimming
across the creek reported that they were going about their normal business when suddenly the gunship flew over the village.
Villagers who were not engaged in any criminal activity came out to wave to the aircraft when suddenly the gunship opened fire. Those who ran into their houses were roasted when they gunship came back and napalmed the whole village.

Uwem, the survivor, is now living in fear of his life.

If they knew were the criminals were (i'm guessing they did since they knew where to target with their hellfire missiles) why then couldn't they send in commandos or some elite force to go take them out.....why risk having a high collateral damage by using attack aircraft and shooting into the bush hoping to get a few 'militants' in the ensuing bloodbath!

Dont mind these Southeners. Always trying to incite anger against the APC led government. To them, any attack on their bad kinsmen, either Kidnappers, thieves like Stella Oduah or Ibori, or militants like Asari is an attack to them. I wonder the kind of orientation they are given.

The commander clearly said in his report that the attack was also intended to be a show of force to signify the new administration's intolerance for militant and criminal activities in the area.

"The Chief of Air Staff directed the Mobility Command to ensure that the militants do not patrol along Calabar waterways again and to reassure the people that the Air Force is always able and ready. So the display is just to assure the people of our combat readiness and we recorded successes" Owoh said.

I WILL LIKE TO ADVISE NAIRALANDERS TO NEVER BELIEVE EVERYTHING THEY READ ON THIS FORUM.

THE ARTICLE STARTED WITH THIS STATEMENT "The said attack on Cross River was actually an attack on Bla bla bla bla in Akwa Ibom" (so now it's Always Ibom abi, next it will be France)

NOW THEY HAVE COME TO REFUTE THE CLAIM THAT IT WASN'T AN ATTACK ON CROSS RIVER (THAT WAS ACTUALLY GIVEN THE HEADLINE), IT'S NOW AN ATTACK ON AKWA IBOM.

NEXT THING YOU WILL HEAR IS THAT IT WASN'T AN ATTACK AT ALL, IT WAS A MILITARY EXERCISE ON POP CORN SELLERS.

it's shocking how we jump into conclusions on things we know nothing about.
