i'll suggest you apply from italy and use your nigerian bank statement...

baldlarry:
For Finland undergraduate program, the application opens jan- Feb every year and applicants from Nigeria living in Nigeria are not eligible. I applied because i live in Italy and entrance exam was held across Europe.

Pls help me because i am at confused, I have been accepted to study Business Information Technology at Lapland University Of Applied Sciences. I am contemplating of where to file in my application either from Nigeria or Italy. If its Nigeria,I have all it takes but am skeptical of the chances of getting a positive decision from the embassy since application and exams were all done abroad. If its Italy,I have all but no bank statement to present and filing from Europe might / will give me an edge and also speed up the treatment of application. A friend of mine suggests i go back to Italy with my Nigerian bank statement and attach all other documents then file in from Italy.
Thanks as you read !

lol. i just noticed the trend that flights in the last week of july cost 759 usd. and from august to september 822.. so i believe there could still be a downward review of the price you know.. and d chance of it going higher than 822 is very slim.. so just chill.. yea i will suggest you buy normal t shirts and shirts, jeans, boxers and stuffs in 9ja.. u can get like 2 shoes too.. and one cardigan and one pull over.. its advisable to get the winter wears here.. dont forget your clipper too and ur license

hello room, I have followed this topic for some time now, pls I would love to ask about something. now my school charges 35k per transcript which is outrageous, I would like to know if I can make multiple copies and testify them , and then send myself, cos they give u the option of sending urself or they send. also the stamped envelope and all will be provided for u if u want multiple of it

And then@Adebasket97 and @Sirkezman, this is my area, august is the peak period for travellers, its when airlines make money from last min summer travellers. get ur ticket now cos in august its gonna add about another $100 0r more.

thanks all

They will give you permit till the date of your passport expiry. I will advise you though to renew if you can in Naija but if not, you can renew it in Stockholm in a day I think. Best of luck!

Sending your transcripts yourself is suicide, they won't even consider your application except they don't know and they will. Photocopies are impossible, so just forget that; these people are meticulous.

From my experience, Iberia do increase their ticket prices around Sept but I wouldn't advise you to fly with them. Turkish na the best and is the cheapest I think. You will arrive here at midday which still allows you to do a couple of things for those in the Helsinki region. Keep your eyes on the ticket prices; but don't expect a lot of reduction or increase in prices.

NOTE:
Buy enough jeans while coming, shirts, polo, a jacket as Sirkezman said. Except you wan dey buy one jean for 40 euros or shirts from 20. I will advise you buy your clothing needs from Naija. Shoes on the other hand, you can buy 2 or 3 of good quality; there might still be sales when you arrive to buy some more but don't expect Naija level cheap even with sales. And remember to bring your bathroom slippers or flip flops; slippers na like 15 euros for Helsinki o, so make una calculate am for naira make una no forget. Best of luck to you guys and see you!
Br.
