Exactly what ignited my curiousity and prompted the question. While I'm near certain that predestination is a myth, there are instances in life where certain incident occur which gives one the impression it was based on sheer luck rather than diligent and industriousness.

My certainty of predestination being a mythology and uncertainty of perceiving luck as a myth fuels conflicting thoughts that perhaps predestination could be real. If one doesn't believe in the actuality of predestination then luck too doesn't exist. It's safe for anyone who doesn't subscribe to predestination to view any occurrence of luck as coincidence then.
